Davis' late jumper gives Arkansas 72-70 over Oral Roberts

The chants of Arkansas' fans echoed from the concourse long after the players had cleared the floor.

    "Wooooo, Pig! Sooie!"

It's not quite "40 Minutes of Hell," but the Razorbacks are back.

Davonte Davis hit a short jumper with 2.9 seconds left, and Arkansas advanced to the Elite Eight for the first time in 26 years with a 72-70 win over Oral Roberts in the South Region semifinals Saturday night.

Florida ends 7-game skid vs FSU, dedicates win to Johnson

When the final buzzer sounded, Florida coach Mike White and sidelined forward Keyontae Johnson jumped toward each other and shared an emotional embrace.

This one was for "Coach Key," and everyone knew it. Even Florida State.

Colin Castleton had 15 points, a career-high 16 rebounds and six blocks, and the Gators knocked off the 20th-ranked Seminoles 71-55 on Sunday to end a seven-game losing streak in the series 11 months after Johnson collapsed on the court in Tallahassee.

No. 13 Arkansas beats Cincy 73-67 in Hall of Fame Classic

Arkansas was clinging to a one-point lead over Cincinnati in the final minute when JD Notae missed a shot.

The Razorbacks got the offensive rebound, and Au'Diese Toney missed a shot.

And after another offensive board, Chris Lykes missed a shot.

They got one final rebound with 21.8 seconds left, and the Bearcats had no other recourse but to foul. Lykes went to the line and knocked down both of his free throws to pad the lead, and the No. 13 Razorbacks held on from there for a 73-67 victory over Cincinnati on Tuesday night in the championship game of the Hall of Fame Classic.

No. 19 Auburn tops Loyola Chicago 62-53 in Battle 4 Atlantis

    https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/recap?gameId=401382752

Jabari Smith looked comfortable posting up for No. 19 Auburn, while Walker Kessler kept working the glass and protecting the rim against an opponent that reached the second weekend of last season's NCAA Tournament.

It's a good, early sign for Bruce Pearl's young frontcourt.

Smith had 14 points and Kessler had his second straight double-double at the Battle 4 Atlantis, helping the Tigers regroup from a double-overtime loss and beat Loyola Chicago 62-53 in Thursday's consolation round.
