    TARP is still a net loss, anyhow.

    Although I approve of it much more than I approved of the Stimulus Slush Fund. That was $1 trillion pissed away to unions and who knows where else.

    $245B is what actually was used to bail out banks (sum paid to the banks).

    And the amount of TARP actually spent was under $600B, not the $845B you suggest.

    That's exactly right. We now live in a different America. We're now a socialist nation where the majority believes they deserve cradle to grave security. The problem right now is that same majority somehow thinks money is created out of thin air and all this stuff is "free". It's not.

This time, he ran on his record and even with all the crap economic results the majority said "we want four more like the last four". We've reached the tipping point and we're not coming back.     I am. I'm accepting the reality. We're in for a rough ride. The handouts, printing of money, and inflated wages for unions and bloated government will meet a crisis point for our country. At that point, as the world's top capitalistic society, the globalists like Obama will have won, and we'll falter because the moronic socialists here believe that other socialistic/communistic nations like China will be willing to "merge" with us. Won't happen.
