Harden's game is closer to Dames than CJs

At one point last season we were within 1/2 a game of the #5 Lottery slot. Then we got hot and beat out a very young Grizzlies team for #8 where we were immediately dismissed from further participation. That chemistry doesn't seem to be doing a lot. I'll take a star coming in and having immediate impact like what Durant is doing in Brooklyn. Durant and Irving aren't known for chemistry, but they are thrashing people early.

Come on, looking at last season as indicative of this year’s prospects is a bit of a straw man, don’t you think? Unless you think that a healthy Nurk isn’t considerably better than Whiteside, not to mention Kanter being off-the-charts better than Tolliver or Swanigan. And that doesn’t even factor in a healthy Collins come the end of January. And then there’s the improved defense that RoCo and Jones Jr. will ultimately bring once players get accustomed to their roles and each other. A healthy Hood and growing skills of Trent and Simons have to be considered. So, I think looking at last year’s record as some commentary on the ineffectiveness of chemistry is pretty far off the mark.

When you look at Houston's talent now with Wood & Wall they are as deep an talented as we are if they stay healthy. I bet he ends up staying there because of it.

Bigger picture. We have often had the most continuity in the league, but last year was quite different. No matter who we have had, we tend to start out slow....so the chemistry thing doesn't really seem to have that much of an effect.

CJ might be able to match Harden in scoring, but he for damn sure aint putting up 17 assists.

Uhh Trent is still an elite 3 point shooter people, he has been 13/29 (44.8) in the preseason and regular season. He’s just struggling on his mid range shot, that will come around eventually. And Simons didn’t light up the world with his passing last night, he just had 0 assists. And Trent still play better defense than Simons. But the real issue really isn’t Trent vs Simons. It’s Trent vs Melo and Hood. Trent is a better 3 point shooter than them while providing better defense. Stotts is just stupid people, wake up

CJ does that once every 30 games. Harden does it three times a week.

Benching Trent seems so odd that it feels like maybe it was an attitude type thing. Some of these dudes aren’t coachable and don’t respond to criticism. I have NO idea if Trent falls into that category but I’m not sure what else it could be.

Yes....the guy Dan was responding to was comparing Dame with Russell Westbrook in terms of how they would play with Harden.

I honestly didn't think Harden and CP3 would play well together.... and they went to the WCF and came super close to beating the Warriors.

I need to see Wood do it for an entire season. 6th team in 6 seasons means something isn’t right or he wouldn’t bounce around so much. Wall, who knows what he can still bring.
