    Anderson's overall FG% is skewed because such a high percentage of them are 3 point attempts. He was over 40% from 3.

    His effective FG% (eFG%) was 55% last year (a mark Dirk has never reached), which puts him in the top 30 or so in the league and he was top 10 in 3's made per game.

    You can knock him for some things but not shooting.

    While it's not the worst thing in the world to trade Maurice (maybe he wanted to be traded), the whole concept of getting players who share Damian's (and CJ's) timeline seems to be contradicted, if the main piece back is Anderson.

    Well. Technically Lillard is from 90. So Anderson (88) is closer to Dame's timeline than Harkless (93). Not that I would agree with this trade. But it isn't contradictory with the timeline theory.

    Harkless is who the Knicks have wanted from the beginning and they have put pressure on HOU to make it work so that is who they get if the Rockets want 'Melo. No one really wants Anderson out of the deal but for Portland, the cost of getting rid of some of the other contracts was Harkless if that is the way it goes down. Olshey having to pay for last summer's spending.

    BTW, a little tidbit that I think most of us have forgotten:

    If this 4-team deal is ever consummated, there will probably need to be more transactions involved (picks, draft rights, cash) than what we're suggesting in order to satisfy the "touching" rule.

    Since so many of you dont want to lose Harkless, and neither do I if we dont have to. I'd be curious to know how many NBA GM's would prefer Harkless over Anderson.
