    Eh, my bad. Whatever, I could barely bring myself to pay a minute of attention after the Blazers got bounced. In any case that tax-free Texas thing is a pretty big selling point I'd wager, and Harden and CP3 definitely have a better pedigree.

    There is a problem with Crabbe standing out there and waiting for the ball to come to him.
    They tried that last year pre-all star break and realized Crabbe needs to touch the ball and get shots consistently for him to stay engaged.
    Post all-star break with actually having plays ran for him Crabbe played a little better. Not much, but a little.
    I think it's a very bad plan to stick Crabbe out there with Lillard, CJ, Nurk, and possibly Melo and expect him to be ready to shoot when he showed last year that clearly that wasn't his game.

    I don't know why national media gives us no chance. Houston has nothing to offer. So either he doesn't wanna come to portland or he wants to stay in new york and we know how that relationship is. Unless there is some other team besides houston and cleveland that wants him and can give new york what they want I don't see it. Seems to me it's gonna come down to New York or Portland. Might be along wait but I just don't see Houston giving up Ariza or Gordon. Signing CP3 already made their bench nothing. Who knows, I am fine with it either way, if we don't get him, fine. If we get him, fine. However if we do, it's essentially a rental for a year unless we made it to conference finals or some shit and that's a big if

    I never said anything of him 'standing out there and waiting for the ball to come to him' just that he would be the beneficiary of a lot of shots, which he would be.

    The question is, really, will Anthony consider Portland once he's informed that the Houston trade isn't happening because New York isn't willing to accept a load of garbage?

    It hasn't reached that point yet. Anthony still seems to think Houston is an option.

    I got the ESPN notification too and thought "welp, there goes the fun". Then the quote was literally what Woj said yesterday.

    ESPN is stupid. The gave me a notification talking about Lillard and CJ recruiting Melo, then at 9:00pm tonight, sent me a notification of one of their writers repeating Woj's quote from yesterday, as if it Carmelo's still disinterested after Lillard's and CJ's recruiting pitch, when in actuality we have no idea if they swayed Melo or not.
