    This doesnt seem right. There seems to be something we are missing. In most of those proposed trades we take back as much if not more than we have for players that make no sense.

    Anderson and Crabbe kinda cancel each other out but Ariza is expiring. So minuscule cap saving.

    Don't trade harkless please. A Turner/Leonard dump for Anderson and whatever is fine with me. Get the league to move the three point line back two feet and we'll be cooking with gas

    Do we really want to rid of Meyers so bad that we are willing to sacrifice Harkless for the same money and player that doesnt help us really?

    Agreed - it would be awful. If Hark weren't included it would almost be palatable with the pick, but just barely.

    we shed $2.2mil immediately, then $7.4 after the season as Ariza is expiring. It's a step in that direction.

    I don't think Neil is looking to improve our cap situation. He's trying to win now. If we got a package that included Anderson, Ariza, and maybe O'Quinn, that would be three veterans to round out our rotation. I think another trade would be coming though.

    That's A LOT of shooting. Ariza is a good defender in the last year of his deal.

    Then you have a bench of Turner, Aminu, Collins, Swanigan, and O'Quinn.

    You guys aren't looking at the big picture here.

    NY is blowing it up and building around Porzingis. They don't want old players. They want young players that fit the same window as KP. That eliminates Turner, Anderson, and any other older guys on long contracts.

    Houston has to clear $26 million.

    Portland clearly wants veterans to try to win now.
