    I would like to think if Neil is going back on his word in a team deal to get melo to houston that the OKC rumors were very true and one could argue that Melo on OKC is way more of a problem than Melo on the houston squad. So if he goes to one of them, make it houston

    I don't know, I'm just speculating due to the rumors from before. It could be a completely different trade. Maybe Melo is going to Okie town and we're getting Kantor whom we tried to get last season, who knows.

    He gets Wes Mathews money and makes less than Batum so to me...he's better than both those guys...his value as a defender is really under appreciated...Chief too....give him a season with Nurk and I think you'll value him more.

    How about this from left field?

    Trade 1:
    POR gets: Love
    CLE gets: Melo
    NYK gets: Harkless, Patty, Ed

    Trade 2:
    POR gets: Shumpert, Tyson Chandler
    CLE gets: Bledsoe, Turner, Vonleh, PHX future pick
    PHX gets: Kyrie, Meyers

    So we get a lineup of :

    Dame/CJ/Crabbe/Love/Nurk with Shumpert, Aminu, Chandler, Collins, and Caleb off the bench. We also get out of the Meyers/Turner deals.

    CLE gets: Bledsoe/Smith/Lebron/Melo/Thompson with Turner as their 6th man and a future pick

    PHX gets Kyrie

    NYK gets rid of Melo for some reasonable contracts.

    If I am the NY I am all over dumping Melo for Kyrie. (and maybe Frye's 1 year deal) That would be stupid for Cleveland in the long run though if Lebron leaves. But I can see Lebron forcing their hand.

    Then if I am the Cavs I trade love too
