Ya because it's so crucial that we stay a development team.

It'd surely be a better blueprint for us to add more expensive, mediocre guys with no room to improve.

Because someone drastically overpaid Anderson and are now trying to dump his bloated contract??? Do I win?

This. It takes more than 3 point shooting to win a game. Otherwise, we would have finished in the top 3 in this league last season with all the 3 point shots we took.

We need guys who can play Defense too. Mo isn't great at it, but he's better than Anderson.

The more I think about it, the more I don't want Anderson coming here unless that means we can keep Mo too.

Anderson shot 28.3% on 5.5 3PA/G this year in the playoffs. Just brutal. At least Harkless plays a lick of defense, which makes him a lot more valuable on a team with major perimeter defensive issues.

So Houston just keeps adding draft picks until they do.

My concern with Anderson is his being prone to injuries.

He's not the same as Crabbe. They play different positions and are guarded by different guys on the other teams.

A guy like Anderson doesn't bring a big in the lane to crowd it up for Nurk. If they double Nurk, an Anderson should take advantage of being wide open.

On offense, he surely is an upgrade over Aminu at PF. He's been a high teens scorer for several seasons, unlike all but 2 guys on our roster.

We're awful on defense, we'd still be awful on defense.

    I think we've seen Mo's upside.

I would not be surprised if we get cash and a draft pick in the deal. If there's a deal to be had.

here's the kicker though....he played with James Harden this year in the playoffs and was probably a spectator all through the playoffs by design

I disagree about Mo. I think he's gotten better since he's been here, and he exploded after we got Nurk. I think with a full season playing with Nurk, they can be very productive together.

Before we got Nurk, the whole team was hot garbage, so I don't hold that against him specifically. But we've seen what he can do, and I'm willing to bet on that only getting better for another season with Nurk in the rotation.

I recall the Blazers being interested in Anderson before he went to the Rockets as well.

with Turner, Aminu and Nurk, you can hide him and use the points....people don't realize how many points you need to score to win one game against the DUBS now....you have to go with a 10 player rotation almost to wear down those superstar teams...
