They're running away from the "story" because it's bull.

Hm? I said in a previous post that Manu's defensive numbers were inflated because he was playing with one of the best defensive bigs of all time and had the GOAT as his coach.

Kinda like how Olshey never really wanted to sign Parsons? He's just such a good gambler that he knew somebody else would pay him more.

I've belittled opinions as well as you, but I've tried to not do it as much. I understand why people would be annoyed if I do, so don't be surprised if I get annoyed when you do the same. However I got more annoyed about that fact that you were arguing against a trade I never made.

The fact that you said I tell people they don't know basketball is annoying as well, because I don't. You're making stuff up to try and attack me for. It's ridiculous. We were having a good discussion the other day until you made up a trade offer I never said just so you could bash it. That was annoying, then you bring it up today, and further say:
That's extremely. You're making up ideas that I never said just to say they're stupid, putting words in my mouth that I never said, and you're being condescending at the same time. I could handle condescending. A lot of people are condescending but don't make stuff up like you do. All that stuff I listed is why I'm annoyed with you. And now you're trying to play the victim card, acting like I'm the one who started this crap.

And now, even though you're pulling BS on me, I got Riverman piling on.

I've gotten annoyed with Riverman lately for this shit, because he's trying to label any negative opinion of mine a "panic attack post". I'm literally voicing my opinion about a player, and because it's negative and he tries to be all about being positive, he belittles it with "panic attack posts" and "flipping out". I have gotten too mad on the forum, but to label the fact that I don't like Aminu's game and I think he's garbage as a player isn't me having a "panic attack" or "flipping out". Many people watch the game and get frustrated at things. However, the BS you're pulling is giving Riverman an opportunity to pile on with his BS. He recently put words into my mouth I never said as well.

You two need to quit making stuff up that I said when I didn't actually say it. You're putting words into my mouth and bashing me for it, which is messed up. Riverman, you're a positive poster, but some people get more frustrated when the team does bad, and some people have negative opinions about players you like. It's fine to have a discussion about it, and that's all I want. But don't go around labeling it as more than it is. I don't watch with "angst", I don't have panic attacks. I slapped (and put a hole in) my wall last year, but that's it. I may have some negative comments that you don't agree with, or like, but don't sit here and say it's not out of passion or that I have panic attacks because you don't agree. I'm tired of it.

I agree with you river, all the more case that due to the system.
The 'advanced stats/defensive numbers' Manu posted in his prime look far better due to his coach and duncan. Than his individual ability.

I still think CJ can at least become the defender Manu was. Which is why I brought up Parker & Manu to begin with, when I was "challenged" to find a short backcourt that won championships. Even though that was completely o/t from my original post.

Let's just put it simply....I start every game ready to enjoy basketball....more often than not in game threads you start bitchin right after tip off and buzz kill the thread....as I said, for a couple seasons I've pretty much stopped trying to enjoy a game and engage in a game thread.....angst...it's something that if we were at a game together, I'd probably find another seat just so I could enjoy the game.....you have good points from time to time but you like the argument a bit too much for my taste....and you can call this riverman BS....or take it as constructive feedback...choices.

I gave up on game threads for the most part a while ago. I'll still read some of them but I find myself rolling my eyes more often than enjoying what I read... Not going to name any names but I feel there are "the usual suspects".

Bones is really chill in person though, don't judge that book by its cover. I think if you ever meet him you would view him differently, he's actually pretty laid back.

I'm here for basketball enjoyment....not popularity...my 2 cents shouldn't affect you one way or the other....I solved it...just stopped logging into game threads until halftime or after the game

You're exaggerating just how much "bitchin" I do in game threads. I bitch about as much as most other posters, and a lot of threads I don't even participate in. You don't know me, so stop trying to act like you do. Most of my complaints are well-though at and analyzed, and I'm not bitchin just to talk shit, like others do. I like argument? You're the one who started this argument by saying I have "panic attack posts" for reasons such as "Stotts sucks blah blah blah".

This is even though my opinion on Stotts has been detailed for specific reasons that are evident and well-thought out. Thus proves my point that if someone has negative opinions about players, it doesn't matter how valid or thought-out they are, you can't handle it. Because you can't handle it, you over-exaggerate it to extreme lengths with "you watch with angst", "You're a buzz kill to game threads", "you start bitchin right after tip off" and "you have panic attack posts".

If it's really as bad as you think it is, ignore me. If I'm really that toxic, then hit that ignore button and don't bother me with your opinion of me anymore.

Not sure how I feel about this, being I'm competing with him in the 3 on 3 tourney later this month. I was told he'll carry the team like Kobe.
Maybe I should pull a @dviss1 err I mean Blake Griffin and say I'm injured.

    :D

I don't doubt that....I have liked bones posts and it's not personal....I've pretty much said all I've got to say about it.

You seem to be extremely affected by my two cents on Stotts, Aminu, and Turner, one way or another.
