In his defense, Scottie actually played defense.

Yes, he did. I loved him as much, as I hated him before he got here. I imaging I'd feel the same way about "Nut Kicker". We'll see about Carmelo....

I'd take Prime Scottie every day of the week over prime Carmelo. Prime carmelo was a great iso scorer not discounting that but Prime Pippen was basically Kawhi (but probably better)...

And that over-the-hill ex-All-Star was too piss-poor a leader to hold on to a seemingly insurmountable lead in order to make it to the NBA Finals.

He was the supposed leader on that team, and his failure in that role allowed them to fold like a lawn chair.

So it's his fault Dunleavy didn't call a time out earlier? Or that the team missed a large chunk of the shots they normally made? Or that they went from 11:47 (with the score 73-58) until 2:58 without making a basket (77-75)?

That's Pippens fault!? Who shot 2 times in that stretch? the TEAM choked and it wasn't because of Pippen. Sure, game 7 he didn't have a great game, but he's not the reason they lost. You hold weird grudges man.

btw, I looked at the box score from game 7 for the first time in almost 20 years. I think I'm finally over it.

I remember thinking 15 point lead no way they’re coming back but whenever it happens in games now it’s just like a matter of time.
