    Why would I need or want "credibility" to post on here? You think I'd actually post something on here if I knew anything. I could write a book of what I've seen or heard bro.     I agree with your post, except the PG part. That ship has sailed. He is not coming to us through free agency. A trade was our only chance. He is looking for a place to win, but if we play well enough to get his attention (which I doubt) then we probably won't need him.

    Anderson scored 2.9 more points per game than Harkless, on 2.5 more attempts per game. The delta isn't 2.9 more points per game. Anderson would be taking away those 2.5 attempts from other players. At last year's rate, those 2.5 attempts by other players would have resulted in 2.6 points. Since Anderson adds 2.9 points - the delta would be approximately 0.3 additional points per game.

    Agreed! But how many threads will this place have on PG when free agency begins? 5 or 6 at 20 pages each. Look how fired up this group was with a slim chance in a trade.

    We would have to hope for some teams to have epic collapses and PG to hate Okie's.

    Dame and CJ need to be sending P towns best strippers to his hotel when in town. It just doesn't hurt to try.

    More so than Melo to NYK in 2010-11? Rumors of Carmelo forcing a trade to NY started before the season even started and were a huge distrction right up until a 12 player, 3 team trade finally went down at the trade deadline in February. It was so drawn out, it even had a nickname - The MeloDrama.

    Looks like we have somehow been cast in a supporting role in the sequel - The MeloDrama 2.0.

    With our cap situation, the most we could possible offer him is the tax MLE for about $6M per year. There is no way it's even a possibility unless we can dump some serious contracts.
