Well I'm just going to say this.
Portland's front office isn't ran by the Magic nor the Bulls.
I just don't see Portland doing this rumored trade without something else.

Thank you. If we were willing to settle for a shit sandwich, this trade would have been competed a week ago.

The rumored framework doesn't make sense at all.

You get rid of Turner, Harkless as the sweetener, but you take on just as gnarly of a contract in Ryan Anderson?

    I would do this.

    Dame/Bazz
    CJ/Lee
    Ariza/Crabbe
    Anderson/Aminu/Vonleh/Swanigan
    Nurk/Collins

Who cares about andersons contract, he's a better player than either of those guys, but yeah that doesn't make much sense. We lose a large chunk of our wings. There would have to be another move lined up. Or we get Ariza.

Something else has to be involved. If this guy is right:

He doesn't say what's all coming back to Portland.

56 pages about nothing. It's a rumored trade, most likely meaning it's not true and it doesn't make sense for us to take Anderson so yeah....

There seems to be a misunderstanding here, I eat humble pie only when Crabbe doesn't increase his scoring average after a rise in minutes this season. Him being a starter or not is inconsequential to this. It only raises my chances of satisfaction and lowers your resistance of chowing down on some tasty and gamey black bird.

This is a season long thing, you know that right?

My whole argument for Crabbe has been that the only reason his contract has been 'bad' is due to lack of minutes. Remember? I screamed it? I am sure you can find it.

What if the trade is taking so long because Neil is trying to somehow get Porzingod. Not gunna happen but this whole thread has been a whole lot about nothing so thought I'd throw it out. Seems like either Portland backed out and they had to start over with a different third team or someone is really playing hard ball.

That sounds as good as the "my uncle works for Nintendo" meme that's been around for like 40 years.

Crabbe averaged 28.5 MPG. Harklesss was at 28.9 MPG and Aminu was at 29.1 MPG and Nurk was at 29.2. The only two players that averaged significant'y more MPG than Crabbe were Dame and C.J.

It's not a lack of minutes that makes Crabbe's contract bad, it's a lack of overall production in the minutes he's given.

But fine, whatever. Crabbe will still be the same passive, 1-dimensional Crabbe no matter who we trade and how many minutes he gets. I won't be surprised to see him score more if he gets more minutes. His mediocre production should scale with his PT, but I don't expect to see any kind of breakout season, or significant improvement in his PER 36 stats or advanced stats. He is who he is.

The thing about Crabbe is he has the skill set to be a good player if he'd let his mind get out of the way and play with fire.
