Again I'm not from Seatlle!!! A Yahoo poll yesterday of over 150,000 people proves my point. It asked what will you remember from this SuperBowl. 70% said "The refs blowing crucial calls that cost Seattle the game". Enough said. The fact is theres no way to prove it was fixed but the play calling was so poor and biased in so many crucial situations it sure seemed so. Sorry y'all but no matter what you think this SuperBowl will be remembered for all the blown calls. There were just too many! And I'm also sorry but the Steelers won't be recognized as legit champs. Too many people saw what happened.</div> Nuvolari, A Yahoo poll is hardly a good way to judge what America thinks. The biggest problem with that poll is that the majority of people who would vote are the ones who are upset. Now you have every right to your opinion, but at this point I have not heard one person provide absolute proof that there was a blown call. The only one that I can see would be the blocking call against Hasselback -- but that did not result in any benefit for Pittsburgh. If someone would provide me with proof that the TD should be overturned and the pass interference should not have been called, then I might be willing to agree. Then again, we are now talking about 2-3 calls which is hardly enough for me to consider a game 'fixed'.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Hawk)</div><div class='quotemain'>The Seahawks lost the Super Bowl and I'm not complaining anymore. Why?, I like the fact that we were probably the greatest Super Bowl loser in history and most people do think the refs favored the Steelers and the Seahawks will be back for another great season and even if the 2006 season isn't as great for the Seahawks, they can still make the Super Bowl since the NFC is the weaker conference (that?s a good thing IMO ). I'm going to let everyone else do the complaining.</div> The Greatest Loser in Super Bowl History. Now there's a title to aspire to attain! Yeah, I'll never forget that Willie Parker run for ... oh wait, that was the Steelers. Oh, there was the beautiful pass from Randle El to Hines Ward .... oh wait, that was the Steelers too. Well, there was the 3rd and 28th where the Seahawks...uh...didn't do anything and the Steelers made the 1st down that led to the Roethlisberger td. Um...what was so great about the Seasquawks again?

It's better to be the better team and lose than to be the worse team and lose (you'll quote that one probobly) and people do know the Steelers win wasn't pretty. BTW, what's so great about the Dolphins? They suck.

What's so great about the Dolphins? You mean besides the fact that the Dolphins are one of the winning pro sports franchises in the modern era? The Dolphins are 8-4 against the Seahawks. All Time Win-Loss Records Dolphins 382-261-4 Seahawks 232-249-0 The Dolphins have won 121 more games than they have lost while the Seahawks have a losing all-time record. The Seahawks are only twelve losses behind the Dolphins even though the Dolphins have been around for 10 more years. The Dolphins also have won two World Championships while the Seahawks have none. Who sucks?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (nflfan04)</div><div class='quotemain'>Porky, i doubt anybody forgot about those refs in the Indy game. ive never seen a worse call than on the Polamalu INT. I'm sure the NFL will bring up that play during a meeting but nothing is being said about it anymore. Why because something else has happened and the public has moved on. Just like the public will move on and forget about the refs in the Super Bowl.
i guess it depends on who you are... my family is still sour from 1980 when the Flyers lost to Islanders on 2 very bad calls.

I'm sure Seattle fans will be upset for probably ever but outside of the fans of the Seahawks the rest of the public will move on. I know most Packer fans would like the Jerry Rice play back against the 49ers but to the rest of the public that games in now known as the catch II.

I just gotta let you guys know I could care less about the Steelers Seahwawks Packers or football in general. I race bicycles for a living and I got a nasty case of tendonitis in the off season probably brought on pushing 600lbs on the leg press and I'm really bored at home all day not being able to put in my usual 5-6 hours on a bike so I sit on line for hours and hours going to forums and riling people up on a whole slew of issues. Sorry but now I'm bored with this site. Peace out Ho's.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DolfanDale)</div><div class='quotemain'>All Time Win-Loss Records Dolphins 382-261-4 Seahawks 232-249-0</div> Yeah look at that everyone! The Dolphins have more losses! Now to be more serious, I never said that the Seahawks or I aspired to become the "Greatest Super Bowl Losers In History" I'm just saying that when I think about the loss, I'm just glad we weren?t creamed and even though the Seahawks did make bad plays, overall we did do pretty good with making a lot more little plays. I'm not like "OMG WE ARE THE GREATEST, WE DID BETTER, BEST LOSERS EVERYONE. BEAT THAT!" I'm sure C&C and some other people think I'm a "Crybaby" but I'm not, My post that DD rudely responded to was to tell everyone that I am not complaining anymore and that the Seahawks weren't bad in the Super Bowl but now I got into this ridiculous argument with DD about who is better, Seahawks or Dolphins? Well I'm going to continue it just for the hell of it: Why are the Seahawks better than the Dolphins? Because we beat Dan Marino and John Elway in the playoffs! Anyway, if you are going to make a post to me about the Seahawks, Refs, plays, etc., I'm not going to respond because I've already said everything I can about the game. BTW, it?s not like Seahawks fans are the only fans that get a bad reputation after the Super Bowl, what about the Denver riot after the Broncos won it?
Let's kickoff my response with a little NFL history lesson. The only time that the Seahawks beat a Marino-led Dolphins team (or any Dolphins team in the playoffs) was a 27-20 win at the end of Marino's rookie season in 1983. Marino and the Dolphins beat the Seahawks 31-10, in the playoffs the following year. How about a little NFL Trivia? Who was the last team that Marino before he retired? It was the Seahawks in the playoffs! 20-17. That makes Marino and the Dolphins 2-1 against the Seahawks in the playoffs and 8-4 overall. I'm not sure how the Seahawks losing to the Dolphins twice as much as they win makes the Seahawks a better team. I bet your math teacher was a Patriots fan. I wasn't trying to be rude. You said, <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Hawk)</div><div class='quotemain'>The Seahawks lost the Super Bowl and I'm not complaining anymore. Why?, I like the fact that we were probably the greatest Super Bowl loser in history</div> I was just agreeing with you and helping you to celebrate the fact. I'm just worried about the pacific northwest. If the incessant crying doesn't stop, I'm afraid that Seattle will soon be joining Atlantis.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Hawk)</div><div class='quotemain'>I'm not going to respond because I've already said everything I can about the game. BTW, it?s not like Seahawks fans are the only fans that get a bad reputation after the Super Bowl, what about the Denver riot after the Broncos won it?</div> Well, I would agree with you, everything that could be said has been said by either side. Some people believe the refs screwed up, others don't. Its not just specific to fans of either team, although it appears as if the majority of Seattle fans think the refs screwed up, and the majority of Pittsburgh fans do not. And about Seattle being the only fans that get a bad rep, they certainly are not the worst fans in the history of the game. Complaining about the refs, however, does give them a bad image...
