The best part is they and most republican led states are buoyed by the other states to help them operate. They can't take care of themselves, yet they continually bite the hand that feeds them and it makes me giggle.

Teach students to hate gay and trans classmates. To be on the safe side, teach them to hate anyone who is different. And teach them women have no value, they are just incubators. And for good measure, any election not won by Republicans is fraudulent.
Just call them Hitler Youth, or is it Trump Youth?

I was thinking about this too, Texas would be F’d if they did this and so would the GOP.

As a sovereign country, Texas would be the 10th largest economy in the world by GDP, ahead of South Korea and Canada and behind Brazil.

At this point if you haven't questioned the bullet points set out by the GOP and still support them, it's getting to the point where you'll never listen to reason again. It's that bad.

    Point of no return.

Unfortunately, this is absolutely correct. And it isn't going to end well.

They need to save something for next years convention. Next year it is restoring slavery, and removing women's right to work and vote.

Sure, but they would be run by Republicans, so my point still stands, they would be F'd. Instead of governing they would be too busy doing political stunts instead of actually running their country. During their next winter shut down crisis there would be no FEMA to ride to the rescue like last time.

God it’d be great if Texas breaks off and then we build the wall between texas and the rest of us. Just have to make sure that border is secure

If for no other reason, then to keep Ted Cruz out.

Such a waste of energy to deal with Texas's annual threat of seceding from the nation. Fuck off.

Texas gets $1.2 for every $1 in federal tax it pays, so once they secede their GDP probably will fall a little to about #15 in the world, behind Australia and Spain but above Mexico (the irony).
