Everyone knew Trump was a senile old fart. Dems tried to pretend Biden wasn't. They hid him from his cabinet. Which honestly didn't matter, because Biden said he was only going to be a one term president. But Dems also didn't have a plan to replace him. And he decided he wanted another term. Dems screwed us all. They robbed the people of the opportunity to find a candidate people wanted.
Hasn't there been a couple of years of absolute blockbuster movies? I don't even follow movies yet I am aware of Barbie, Oppenheimer, Wicked. Maybe Trump just didn't like them?
They didn't need a perfect candidate. They needed to give us the opportunity to pick. They needed to give their candidate an opportunity to be seen. To be tested. They needed to take their foot off the scale. If Kamala cane through that she may well have beaten Trump. She definitely would have had a better chance. But I don't think anybody believes she would have made it through that.
