Electerol college and Senate are undemocratic. Since 1992 Republican presidential candidate won popular vote once, Bush 2004. But presidency three times. Five Supreme Court justices appointed for life by presidents who lost popular vote. Electerol college weighted to smaller and least diverse states, a vote in Wyoming counts more than a vote in California. Each state gets two senators so a state with 300,000 people and a state with 20 million count the same. Currently half the population lives in 15 states and gets 30 senators while another half spread over 35 and gets 70 senators. By mid century if trends continue two thirds of population will be in 15 states. This was deliberate to give slave owning states greater weight.
Also there was no crash or emergency landing. Kamala Harris was not discussed. Willie Brown remains a strong Harris supporter. But question is, why did every network cover this do called press conference live? Without fact checking? There was no news, just regurgitated fact free grievance. What they did not cover, Harris and Walz speaking to UAW members.
I think this is a case where Trump supporters might wish they had covered something else. The guy is coming totally unglued before everyone's eyes.

Jerry Brown, the former governor of California, who bears little resemblance to Willie Brown. Jerry Brown, who left office in January 2019, said through a spokesperson, “There was no emergency landing and no discussion of Kamala Harris.” “I call complete BS,” Newsom said, laughing out loud. Trump’s errant account, delivered during a news conference at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, came in response to a reporter who asked a leading question about Harris’ past relationship with Willie Brown, and whether Trump thought it might have had something to do with her career trajectory. But he — he was not a fan of hers very much, at that point.” Reached on his cellphone just after Trump’s news conference — at his regular lunch spot at Sam’s Grill in downtown San Francisco — Willie Brown, 90, said the whole story was false. He had never ridden in a helicopter with Trump, he said. He had never nearly perished in any helicopter ride. And he remained an avid supporter of Harris’. At so called press conference Trump said everyone happy Roe overturned so abortion up to states. Florida has a state ballot initiative this year on abortion. When asked his position, he mumbled for a while then said he would hold another press conference on the issue "soon". Don't hold your breath.
