Eventually, but first there was a long period like the one we are in now, where many people tried to figure out what the truth was, partisan Republicans defended the president, partisan Democrats attacked the president, and people like you complained that you didn't want to hear anything about it.

The US imports 90% of the uranium we use. So Russia buying a Canadian company that owns 20% of the US production (later updates suggest that Uranium One is now only 6% of US production) really means they gained the ability to control 2% of what we use. The deal disallowed export of any of the uranium from their US mines.

I suppose if we wanted to fuck with the Russians we could refuse to buy their uranium and instead import 92% rather than 90% of what we use. Since they don't have a license to export from the US, they'd have to shut down the US mines.

    Exactly.

And who has Mueller indicted? Rosenstein, Comey, Podesta, Clinton, himself...? :dunno:

The whole thing was a deep state op, now it's a cover up of the exposed deep state op.

They shut down cruising Broadway a long time ago. That must have happened about 40 years ago.

Has Trump's personal justice department indicted any of those people? Do you wonder why they haven't?

I do not support Antifa, but let's get something straight here. Their "protests" as of late, in Seattle and Portland and DC, I believe, are direct COUNTER protests to the proud boys holding their own demonstration. What on earth the proud boys are demonstrating against I don't know. They got their wacko in the white house. They're real life trolling is all and they're trying to incite violence. They are dying for an antifa member to get physical with them, or assault them in any way so they can justify beating the shit out of them or killing them.

    That's it.

Actually I read an article about cruising on Broadway and it wasn't until 1987 until they officially shut it down. They made it difficult in the mid to late 70's as they shifted the cruising to 82nd Ave, 122nd Ave as well as cruising the top of Mt. Tabor. Spend many a nights down their cruising on Broadway. In the mid and late 60's cruising was also big at Specks on Foster, The Tik Tok on Sandy and Burnside as well as Yaws hamburger joint in the Hollywood district as they were also equipped with the drive up service and the waitresses on roller skates. where it often looked like a scene out of American Graffiti.

I cruised it back in 1966 so it had to have been either later that year or the next.

Hell, no one with a brain would want to do it today in that scurvy town.

    I remember those places.

By the way, my gorgeous aunt worked at Waddles back in the early 50s. She wore roller skates and always brought home a ton of money she got from tips. Back in those days it was in the form of change. She was just 16. As soon as she got home, my mom would count her money and tell her what kind of school clothes she should buy with the money. Later, my aunt went into business in Florida, owning two liquor stores and two go go night clubs. She witnessed a mob hit and had to go into the witness protection program. She married and divorced a small time hoodlum. I read in a Life or Look magazine while waiting for the dentist that he had been murdered in New Orleans, no doubt the result of another mob hit. Then, she was offered to sell one of her her night clubs but she declined. Her night club burned down when it was closed for business. She married the sheriff and she had no more problems with mobsters. I'm telling you she was beautiful.

As a side note, my other older aunt, sister of the aunt I talked about had a daughter that was incredibly beautiful. I'm trying to plan a trip down to Alabama to visit my aunt and her daughter but I have to work it out with the VA 'cause I'll have to get treatments while I'm down there.

    Pardon me for getting sidetracked.

I was a shade too old to be cruising at that time. My memory is bad but I'll bet I missed it quite a bit. It was really fun.

Both groups are scum bags imo.
But why do I encounter and see more Antifa downtown than any other group? There seems to be a parallel with punks that have no desire to work and or contribute and Antifa. They need to be swept out of this city, same with right wing neo nazi's.
My grandkids won't go downtown anymore because of the filth and harassment of Antifa and punks standing around doing nothing.

I have no problems with anyone. Maybe it's the way I walk, I dunno.
I look at young kids as going through a phase. A lot of them will grow out of it. How do you distinguish the future good ones from the dregs? I have no idea. Anyone with and eyeball can see that there are those in ANTIFA who are doing bad things.

It's the other ones that I worry more about, but some of them will also grow out of it.

I don't know Lanny, both groups are cult like and tribal. Im not saying some won't come out of it because Im a believer in second chances and redemption, I hope they do.
My son in law is a phycologist and very liberal and his concern is these young kids w/o strong family ties and encouragement and no goals, look at gangs of which Antifa is, as a way to rebel and faze out. Unless they demonstrate respect for others and those that don't think like them and repel violence they will struggle.

We don't need you in Portland and your sensationalist views. Maybe you can cruise Bandon, lol.
