I am talking about everything. They are allways nuetral. How can you not take a side during the World Wars? Why do they care nothing about Terrorists? And that is the whole point. Switzerland doesn't do anything to anyone else because they don't do anything. They have their opinions but would rather not let people know and stay out of stuff so they let other countries fight it out and whatever happens happens.

Yeah, but Terrorists don't care if you are nice or not. When they are ready, they will attack. It just isn't improtant to attack them right now, what would they get out of it? Attacking Switzerland, what kinda statement would that prove?
The thing is, even if our country said we are going into a "nuetral" state for now on, it wouldnt do any good. We could take all our troops from all over the world and bring them home, quit trying to protect the nation, and quit helping other nations. If we did all that, terrorists would still attack us just because we are the United States. They hate us. Not because of the stuff we have done to them, but just because we are the United States. If we had been nuetral before 9-11, those planes would of still flown into the world trade center. They hate us so much. They hate the ppl that support the war in Iraq, they hate the ppl that dont support the war in Iraq. So we as a nation have to stand up and protect ourselves. Thats how i see it.

Switzerland has been very successful in protecting their citizens and borders with their foreign policy plan. However, our values and morals are different than theirs and that is why their style of government, or atleast foreign policy, would not work here. We believe in helping neighbors when they are in trouble and spreading democracy, Switzerland does not.Neither way is "right", because everyone has their own personal preference, but one way works for one country and the other way works for a different country. Right now, America is too powerful of a nation to be an isolationist. In recent history (the last century) we have been an isolationist, imperialist and now our current interventionist policy. We have pretty much gone full circle.

We have troops in South America helping fight a War on Drugs, we have troops in Bosnia helping rebuild that country, we have troops in Africa helping in tribal wars, along with other places around the world. Believe it or not, our troops are doing more than being bullet magnets and killing people.
