I am surprised by how they decided to order the fights, if there are indeed no good prelim fights why didn't they keep the Kimbo/Nelson fight until later. I thought they would be using the Kimbo/Nelson fight to draw in some people that wouldnt have watched otherwise and then wow them in subsequent episodes with some better, more competitive fights.

Well, maybe I'm wrong. I thought I read a blog from one of the TUF guys but maybe he meant that fights on the same day are sometimes shown out of order, not days out of sequence. Obviously the "three in a row, four in a row" stuff wouldn't make sense otherwise.

Yea the 4 in a row thing wouldn't make sense if it was out of order, considering it occurs clearly with Schaub's hands wrapped up and after his fight.

As well I'm sure they would put Kimbo's fight later in the show so that people would tune in to see if it is finally Kimbo's fight.

Anyway, like I said when the teams were picked, Rashad's team looks like it was the better picks, and as well is receiving the better coaching.

You must have missed when Bisping didn't even show up for a fight.

The TUF preview available on YouTube is hinting that Big Baby (Marcus) might be fighting tomorrow. It also suggests a "surprise ending" to the fight.

I think this could be the show where rampage flips out and rages on the door.

Man this season seriously cracks me up.

Marcus Jones getting so pissed at Rashad. (Rashad didn't say if he was fighting next)

I can't wait to see the guy fight, the guy clearly has a lot of power, I wouldn't pick him to win it, (Schaub's my pick), but damn if he connects, the other guy is in big trouble or out cold.

I loved when Schaub and Roy were mocking Mitrione, how he could shoot hoops, and toss the football around whenever he wanted, but had to have it taped up when doing anything at practice. Personally I think that guy is full of shit, hopefully Marcus beats his ass.

I'm surprized they didn't go to Wes Sims more for soundbytes, or for scenes, like Kimbo said he's the guy that adds fuel to the fire, always trying to stir up shit. They've barely used him.

This season has been really boring so far, it's either that there has been no controversy or Spike's not showing it. There's no Nate Diaz style shit talking, no Mikey Burnett style crash head into wall, No Tom Lawlor style peeing into food. Honestly the closest we've come to shit happening was when Wes Sims might of stepped in semen. This show either needs to decide whether it wants good fighters putting on good fights or really crazy guys doing crazy shit at the house cause right now they have neither.

    Sims is hilarious.

Mitrione is a douche, I hope he gets his ass knocked the fuck out.

    I don't like Schaub.

I like Big Baby or w/e his nickname is. Jones, depending on his ground game, could be a favorite to win it all.

And, yeah, I wonder if Kimbo is back after next week?

Well Kimbo seems 100% certain every week that he is coming back.

Or at least keeps taking the mindset that positive thinking will give him the opportunity he needs.

Or the show just keeps teasing us for ratings?

This has been an awful season. Just awful. Terrible fights, forced antics in the house, little to no interesting training... if it wasn't for the visible tension between Evans and Jackson this season would have nothing but Kimbo's greasy beard. And Marcus acting bipolar.

I was surprised with Sims. I guess now we know why he hasn't been featured more on the show--his performance was poor. He didn't get taken down so much as he seemed to fold over. From there it was all too easy for Wren. I wondered about Sims when he got choked out by former NHL tough man Steve Bosse in 2008. Not only has he seemingly lost whatever made him a decent challenge back in the day--he is proving to be exactly the "a whole show" he claims to be with grade-school bullying at the house.

Rashad: "So that's just you being you."
Rampage: "That's right, just me being me."
    Rashad: "Selfish."
    Rampage: "..."

Rampage got crushed in that exchange.

It was probably an editing trick but did anyone notice how in the promo for the next episode, Kimbo raised his arms in victory when one of his teammates appeared to be hurt. I thought that wasn't very classy on Kimbo's part.

I was thinking the same thing.

In the past, Simms would have gotten plenty of air time. They would have built up what a douche he is, then set him up for the embarassing upset. Are they under pressure from UFC to make the guys look more professional? That approach is fine - if they can actually fight! Boring fights + zero personality = blah.

I agree there needs to be more action and better fights.

Kimbo is actually growing on me. He's a pretty cool guy. Rampage makes a horrible coach. Leaving your fighter regardless of the reason is just wrong.

Supposedly they are going to ramp up the coverage of Sims' antics in the coming weeks.

Really seems like this could be coming in two weeks when Rampage goes 0-8.
