I think it is obvious Junk looses a decision because Rampage still has to tear the door down.

Dana White said this was one of the best fights ever.

I think that statement severely cripples his opinion on fighting. Maybe Lorenzo Fertitta should be the UFC face man.

That door destruction was the most emotion Rampage has shown all series.

He tore that door down like it was nothing, the should of been Rashad. Disappointed in Junk too, that guy was my pick to win it all.

with how disappointing everyone else has been, is there any chance that marcus will actually look like a decent fighter? it seems unlikely to me.

This has been a remarkably bad season.

Hopefully the quarter finals are good.

They should make an ultimate fighter where actual pro ufc guys fight for some sort of money grand prize sorta like the comeback but with guys that aren't actually needing to make a comeback. so I guess it would be more like bellator. That would be a good season. No teams or house just camera crews that follow those guys around at their camps during the tournament.

    2 questions:

First, why do these guys, and the ex-NFLers in particular, have such horrible gas tanks?

Second, what the hell was Dana smoking that he thought that was a good fight? Never mind how sloppy it was - half those punches wouldn't have wobbled a jello mold!

This season is turning into an epic fail.

I think for the NFLers the main reason is most of them have been out of the league for a few years so they aren't really NFL game shape. Second NFLers have a lot of rest time, they exert a large amount of energy for like 4-5 seconds then its like rest for 30-40 seconds while the play clock winds down and repeat. Whereas MMA they go continuously for 15 minutes basically.

I was a bit surprised Scott Junk wasn't better. Meathead's technique was wide open but Junk couldn't hurt him.

According to Brendan's blog Junk had a freshly injured Achilles going into the fight and suffered a torn retina in the first minute when Meathead poked him.

Yep, Kimbo looked better than both Mitrione and Junk.
Yea, 30 seconds into the fight Junk started closing his left eye a lot, and started checking for blood with one of his hands multiple times.

I expected Junk to beat Mitrione, both had poor cardio, but also poor pace management.
Well I was right, definitely a pissed off Rampage when he smashed the door.

Also I'm surprized that no one commented on Wes Sims Ninja skit, I thought it was pretty funny.

I really wanted Mitrione to lose, the guy has way too many screws loose.

The door gave Rampage more of a fight than we've seen all damn season. BTW, that elbow Page threw @ the door was FILTHY. I think he pictured Rashad's head.

Rampage may not be the worst coach in TUF history (Ken Shamrock didn't even bring good assistant coaches with him and told his guys BJJ was worthless), but he is already the losing-ist and could be swept (0-8) for the first time in TUF history tonight.

The fight is "Big Baby" Marcus Jones, a lumbering former NFL player with a wonky knee, against UFC veteran Mike Wessel, who's unbeaten streak was broken when he fought Antoni Hardonk on days notice at UFC 92.

Wessel's going to be giving up about six inches in height, likely much more in reach, and roughly 25lbs. in weight in the fight.

Easy prediction: If Jones doesn't win in the first 1 1/2 minutes, he will gas and get embarassed.
