I was pretty angry at spike when I watched this last night. I caught the second showing of the episode and during the commercial break between rounds 2 and 3 they showed a promo of the aftermath which had Johnson choking the brit out, it was especially lame because it was a close fight.

Never pay attention to the commercials. They spoiled it in the 1st run of the episode, too. They've been spoiling TUF for years. I've read that 3 fights are spoiled in the into to the episode this year, so skip those.

Mike Tyson spends five minutes in the dressing room telling Team GSP about boxing, then Josh Koscheck wears 'chort 'chorts to aggravate GSP.

Oh yeah and fight number three. The fights really aren't the focal point of the show, huh Spike?

My guess for the third fight: Jon Brookins vs. Andy Main.

Its getting obvious that picking the fights is a huge advantage. The guy who picks first can run roughshod.

Yeah, if the coach isn't a complete dumbass, the guy who picks the fights usually has a huge advantage. Also John Danaher is such a great assistant, dude has great insight and he comes off very smart and well spoken. The UFC should invite him in to do some fight analysis during their PPVs.

I find it encouraging that GSP keeps letting Koscheck's taunts roll off his back. Even when Kos and Fitch were snickering at him this past episode he didn't really say anything back. He so easily could remind them that he not only beat them both but is, so far, kicking their asses on the show as well, yet he keeps taking the high road. GSP is all class.

Phan/Paige was a really good fight, possibly the best this season.

JC Skarbowski was hilarious, I hope we get to see more of him.

Dunno how inspiring it was for Koscheck's team to see Fitch. Yeah bring in more guys GSP has destroyed. Is Thomas Denny available?

Really? I found that the fighters on this years season of the ultimate fighter looks like the weakest crop of contestants on the show in memory. A lot of highly unbalanced fighters that really aren't that good compared to previous years. Standup, no ground game. Ground game, no standup. You can't do that in the UFC you will get your ass kicked.

I beg to differ. Anyways if what you are saying is the case, this is why they are being coached to be more of a well rounded fighter. It's always good to have an all around game especially to be very good fighter in the UFC but if your bread and butter is wrestling and you are trading with a striker thats a no no in the first place.

The MacKenzie fight was hilarious. Maybe the funniest fight I've ever seen. The guy beats 11 straight guys with basically the same choke, and so what does Stevens do? Lower his head and leave it out there for Cody to grab and finish in the first 16 seconds. The look on everybody's face afterward, especially Koscheck, made the whole season.

That second fight was actually pretty exciting for how short it was. The moves that hippie pulled off, especially that first throw, were so sweet.

I loved the look on Koscheck. You know it killed him inside. He has no room to talk trash to that guy, now.

This season has solidified me as a fan of GSP.

Yeah as a GSP fan and Koscheck hater that was an extremely satisfying episode.

I love that the strategy for McKenzie was to bull rush him and make him revert to his wrestling. Perfect idea. Amazing he was able to choke him out from side mount. I don't remember the last time I saw a guillotine work from side control. Seeing Koscheck dumbfounded after the fight was pleasing.

The second fight was great as well. Brookins' throw put the Armenian on his head. Brookins once fought Jose Aldo so you know he isn't intimidated by these guys. He could be the favourite to win the season given Johnson's lacking submission defence/guard game.

Damn that Brookins kid impressed the hell out of me.. I didn't expect him to throw Zavak like that especially with his "judo" background.

On "The Aftermath" (theultimatefighter.com) Sevak claimed he had an injured rib due to a kick he received from Nam Phan in training. It affected his performance. But yeah I doubt he thought Brookins would get double-underhooks and give him a GR-style lateral throw (IIRC). These Armenian fighters are cocky mofo's.
