I haven't seen either game, just read the boxscores. What I've read is alarming though. We might have a shitty team.

I know it's only the second preseason game, but i'm starting to see why almost none of the national writers had us in the playoffs.

I think we'll settle down. But I also think there's no really TERRIBLE team in the West. Even the Suns has an interesting collection of players. It's going to be a dogfight for the 8th place. New Orleans is probably better than us (Davis appears to have made The Leap already) and Utah's young bigs could be really good (but Trey Burke better be better than he looked in SL).

I agree with this. The Blazers better go in to every home game with the realization that each game is a toss up and they could very easily lose any of them. Hopefully they can get a few preseason games in where their whole rotation is available so they can get used to playing with one another.

Last night was the first time Lillard and Mo played together. (even in practice) They need to play with Batum and Wright as well. (And LMA-13 minutes are not enough)

Right now I would not say TRob is a lock to be the first PF off the bench. Joel and he are different type players. They may end up splitting time depending on the match ups..

TRob needs to get his emotions in check. Lots of aggression, but he needs to focus on the right things. Love what he can bring to us.

Yeah it is a fine line. We need someone desperately like him to be an "enforcer". Someone who mixes it up and plays with an edge. But at the same time he needs to stay on the court. You don't want to get a bad rep with the refs so they start calling every little thing.

I noticed the Blazers are using Aldridge, Lillard and Batum when advertising ticket packages.

Our big three went from Roy, Oden and Aldridge to Aldridge, Batum and Lillard.

It's crazy to think that Batum was on the team before Oden.

Weren't they technically both on the team in 2007, but Oden didn't play until 2008?

Okay, that's right. I knew they were both rookies at the same time, but I thought it was in 2007. They also had Rudy that year as a rookie.
