    I thought he was a 1 year rental.[/QUOTE]
For whatever reason, I interpreted this as you saying that I said that he was a one year rental and I'm going against what I "said." If I misinterpreted you, please let me know and I apologize for that.

Truth be told, I was always hesitant of the idea that this team should've traded for PG especially since he made it clear at the time that he wanted to play for the lakers.

I mean....you're not wrong, but I don't see how this isn't a forgone conclusion of him staying in OKC. All the latest news and rumors have him staying in OKC. Of course, PG could throw everyone a curveball and actually go to LA. It seems that OKC is gonna be paying a HELLUVA lot of luxury taxes.

And yet, with RW as the PG, it'll all be for naught.

Shaq Kobe Karl Malone Gary Payton.....that was the first attempt at an unbeatable superteam….if Malone hadn't been hurt before the playoffs they would've dominated

Two aging vets joined a championship core. How is that like current MVP caliber players like Durant, LeBron, PG, Kawhi, Wade, and Bosh working together to get paired up?

How do you know they aren't? Because Mannix, or Wojo haven't blabbered it out.

By the way, I always thought Mike Connors was pretty cool as Mannix.

Lebron said this is a family and lifestyle choice, he’s been gone to LA ever since he got that chip in the bag for CLE, imo. Doubt his children are clamoring to live in Philly... however, bet his wife and children ALL want to be in LA...

Could be. I personally think LA is a cesspool.

If you are rich - especially super rich- it is a great place to live.

If you're rich, anyplace is a great place to live. If you're rich, you're only a plane flight from any number of the most beautiful places on earth, and LA ain't even close to those. Smoggy skies, inflated eeegos, just a big horse pile of chit, "I hate LA" "I hate LA" (done in the voice of Randy Newman)

There are some amazing places to live in LA. I would argue that SoCal is a beautiful place to live - it has wonderful beaches, great hiking places, a world class food scene and a lot of diversity. Sure, it has tons of crap places, but that's true for any big city. Waking up on the beach in LA every day is not a bad way to live one's life.

I still think that Kawhi got it right - Most things LA has, San Diego has and better (well, the food scene in LA is better). Bring the Clippers back to San Diego.

Great weather. Access to every event or entertainment option. Beaches and mountains a drive away. Good looking people. If i was a rich young athlete I’d want to be in LA too.
