I hope if this happens that LA and GS suffer major season long injuries to multiple players and the nba is stuck showcasing teams with watered down talant. Silver is fucking balless for letting this shit take place.

Guess we never have to worry about expansion, they should probably considering getting rid of a few small market teams actually. Wait till the Greek Freak bolts for New York. NBA is a joke.

Can someone explain to me why LeBron wouldn't want to play for us? We'd be a great opportunity for him to win multiple championships. Why didn't he work out an opt in/trade scenario for a move to Portland. He could've done it if he wanted to.

Dame/CJ/Beasley/LeBron/Nurkic is the best team in the NBA.

If he's winning to play for the MLE then he can join his buddy Chris Paul on the Rockets, which beats us out pretty comprehensively.

Love Embiid, but this is an obvious point and LeBron has no doubt thought long and hard about it. If he fails to bring another championship to LA then never mind better than Jordan, he's not as good as Kobe (in the eyes of the public).

HOWEVER: he kind of undermines his own point, because you could've said "the Lakers will forever be Mikan's/Wilt's/Baylor's/West's/Kareem's team," but he's too young to care. So LeBron might figure, hey, the whippersnappers have forgotten Kobe already.

Why didn't it start with the Lakers signing Shaq?

That’s easy, he has an agent. Mega stars don’t go to small markets, especially in the PNW where most people on the Eastcoast are in bed before his teams game is even over. More visibility equals more endorsements which equals more money. Can you think of the last time a top 5 NBA player chose to go to a small market?

So if no other star goes to LA, does LeBron still go there? Lol. That could be a 1st round exit type of team.

If George stays in Oklahoma and Kawhi goes to Sixers who is LeBron going to play with? That team without any changes is barely better than Cavs without him, maybe even not better at all because they have no one as good as Love.

Good thing Neil kept CJ untouchable during that time PG was being traded. I bet KP's having a good laugh at the Blazers team. Beware of 1year rentals. Especially when there saying they want to play in LA.

I think he should stay in Cleveland and try to find a way to trade for Kemba while keeping Love and Nance and he's got a team that's just as good as 2016.

If they keep him, Randle is very good. So is Ingram. They have upside and enough money to sign free agents or make trades for other players to join them. It would take some creativity sure.

Did he sign with the Thunder yet?

    Then it's just speculation.

Listen here, buddy ol' pal... 'round these parts every Laker sucks. There is no upside with them, ya hear?
