Bill Walton is the answer. Only two other players also received an MVP while averaging under 20 ppg. Anyone want to guess who those players are?

Wes Unseld and Bill Russell. The only other players who played before Walton and won the MVP were Kareem, Wilt, Robertson, and a few others who certainly averaged more than 20 ppg.

Correct on everything. Maravich averaged 5 turnovers per game in 77-78, I believe.

 

Finally.

Anyway, a question:

I am of one of three North Carolina Tar Heels currently in the Hall Of Fame. A small forward, I played from 1965 to 1976, including a two-season stint in the ABA. Who am I?

 

Rick Barry?

I tallied 1 Point, 1 Rebound, and 1 Assist last season.

 

Nope, it was Billy Cunningham.

And, I'll take a guess... Primoz Brezec? I have absolutely no idea.

Hmm, a player getting props for blowing a dunk in an All-star game? He has to be one of the lesser all stars. I'd guess Boozer or Magloire.

 

^ nope... it wasn't on one play that he gets props... the viciousness is in this player's character... this is more than a hint. And it's not the rookie game but the Sunday's one so can't be Boozer.
