This would be my dream layout for the playoffs. Lakers drop to 4th, Dallas 2nd and Thunder 3rd. We land the 6th seed and face Thunder in round 1. Why? I think the sooner we face the "running and athletic" Thunder, the better. Last thing we need is tired legs to try and beat these guys. I like seeing the Lakers in the WCF; of course if we make it that far. I think we would have a Huge confidence boost if we made it there and it could be possible that the Lakers will have a tough time getting past Denver and SAS; both very physical teams. Regardless of who comes out of the 1, 8, 4, 5 seed; I think we have a great chance with whomever we face. Just may take.
We're at a playoff experience disadvantage to all of the top four seeds except for OKC. I think that factor could be important, reflecting back on the lesson in playoff basketball handed to us by the Rockets.
April 12th.............. San Antonio at LA Lakers............ I say LA. I need them to move up back into the #2 position. We win out and DON'T have to play them!
