On a bit different note, I remember when we "had" to put my wife's Bichon down due to cancer. One of the cruelest experiences I've ever been through. Following that, my wife was pretty depressed for months, until I surprised her with our two new pets. BTW, they're both, ummmm.....females. Heh.
Yes, God does love animals. Oh, and He also gave man dominion over them. Too bad some people don't understand the difference between dominion and cruelty.
Muslims, Christians, Jews, .....one of things I have against religion and certain countries that abuse women & Girls.
It's not so much how you interpret as it's what you do with it. More specifically, it's all about what you do with Jesus. Always has been, always with be.
There is no such thing as a "Jew for Jesus". Even posting that is an insult. Most members of that group were never Jews. A person who claims a relationship with Jesus is not a Jew. Period. Full stop. I am an out and out atheist and I am still considered a Jew, I could marry the chief rabbi of Israel if we wanted. A person who converts us no longer a Jew. I know, the so called end times says a third of us become Christian and the rest are slaughtered. Lots of Christians over the past thousand years or so have figured why wait, they can start slaughtering us now. In the name of Jesus. He's your god, or wasn't that Trump? He is not and cannot be ours. You do not know more about pregnancy than the pregnant woman and you do not know more about Torah and Talmud than Jewish people. In fact you have shown (to quote Ygritte) you know nothing.
I used to go to youth group until I was a freshman in high school. Read the Bible, played some games, sang songs, stuff like that. Nice people. Freshman year most of the girls got pregnant. Still nice people, but being 15 years old it did occur to me that I wasn't getting any action... Not long after that revelation the minister wanted to baptize me. Told him I'd think about it, then noped right out of there.
I have a broader view and it includes absolutely everyone. Even the worst people will be turned good in the afterlife. Our church welcomes everyone, Black, Brown, White, Yellow, Red, Blue, Green, Purple, everyone, Catholic, Baptist, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Atheist, everyone.
It was the youth group girls at church. And honestly it wasn't all of them, but it seemed like half of them. Don't want to call them out specifically, but it was a church in Clackamas County.
Well yeah! Unfortunately it didn't work out that way. They were sharing their time with non-church members. So it seemed there was no reason for me to be there, and certainly no reason to make any kind of a commitment...
