Ever heard of Terry Pratchett? He's huge in Britain (was the biggest selling author before JK Rowling came along) probably most famous in US for that book he co-wrote with Neil Gaiman (Good Omens). He has a series of books about tiny warlike blue people called the "Wee Free Men" who believe that they have already died and this is their heaven, which involves a lot of fighting (a la Valhalla). I read somewhere that they were making a Wee Free Men movie... ah yes, here we go.
