ET was doing it on the sidelines after the buzzer while tapping his wrist. He was also calling for Simmons to shoot instead of running out the clock.

Me too. The Blazers bench antics are always positive reinforcement directed at teammates, not negative bitch-itis, like some teams.

Yeah, I saw ET was the only one who wasn't on the same page.

The time to do it is at the closing seconds of the 4th win. Hopefully we'll do it at the end of Game 5.

Not unexpected from ET, considering some of his vulgar tweets that have been posted here.

He's not on the same page all right. Therefore, he shouldn't be on the same team.

    IMO

ET was tapping his wrist at the end of the game, that was pretty funny. But i’m Glad Anfernee didn’t shoot. Dame was over there waving at him like crazy to get his attention to NOT shoot. Walked up to him after and said “NICE WORK” Thats a vet teaching the rooks how to handle themselves. Absolutely invaluable. Now as much as I love ET, I’m quite sure he would’ve gone and shot.

Do the players enjoy any of the memes that get posted? I know they are trying to act above it, but surely they must see some on the internet. Like all of the photoshopped Russ heads on D Jr?

I don't want to focus too much on No. 0 (as opposed to the Letter O), but I thought Barkley made a good observation after the game. He thought OKC needed to consider moving Westbrook to the 2 and starting Shroeder.

Kenny waved it off, saying you need to have Westbrook to have the ball in the middle of the floor to break down the defense at the end of quarters. But just because Shroeder's running the offense most of the times doesn't mean they can't run isolation for Westbrook in certain situations, just like the Blazers do.

Barkley's right. Westbrook's mindset is not that of a point guard. He's 100 mph all the time. He's unstable. You need a consistent player at the point.

Barkley’s given two really great observations this series: the one above, about playing Russ off the ball, and one after game 4 retelling the story of asking Pop when Kawhi became a great player (“when he realized that, when I call a play for him, it’s a play for the Spurs to score, not necessarily for him to score”).

Whoever decided to put Barkley, Kenny, Shaq and Ernie together should have a job for life. Those guys have such incredible chemistry and are so insightful, and it feels like you are with your buddies who ball talking about the game.

This is part of the reason I think NBA is better than college hoops. These guys play so much and have so little time for turnaround between games and stuff that they really can make a great analysis so simple. They distill the thoughts so easily.
