Notice This is the worst Blazer team I have seen in my lifetime.

You rang? I tend to look to enjoy the season every year...fan angst is my personal least favorite part of the sport. With as shitty as covid has made things, if you can't enjoy something out of a high risk attempt to be entertained by your local sports franchise you might want to follow a super team this season....we're a work in progress. People will vent here but cheering is not a crime...being optimistic is not as boring as endless pessimism either...choices..you do you ...won't change anything about my Blazer experience...I think we're going to be a really good team with 20 games under our belt

Number one is an immediate emotional response and no one really means it, at least not most. Number two is likely true. Over time the Blazers will get better. Both the Jazz and Nuggets Rosters have a strong continuity and know where players are best used. The Blazers need to figure out how to best use RoCo, DJJ, and perhaps Giles, and how this team fits.

As for number three. We can see clearly what is happening, but we can't really know what will happen as chemistry evolves and hopefully, adjustments are made.

Except I don't go into threads of the other side and argue or insult the poster. I usually just pass over them.

Nobody is forced to read or reply to this thread.

I'm not standing in your room screaming at the top of my lungs. You can either choose to read my thread (which was clearly marked) or you can choose not to read it. I have started ignoring people that either don't enter into debates in good faith, or are just outright annoying. If anyone wants to put me on ignore, I encourage you to do it. It doesn't bother me.

OK dude... I know that, thus the post you were replying to. I expect more from them. They explained what was going on and now I understand where they were coming from. You see how that works, you listen and then learn.

I wouldn't put you on ignore...if I didn't read your posts I wouldn't reply.....insulting posters is something I flag and don't respond to much anymore....talking about the team is a different story....I'm a fan and one who feels like we're going to be a better team this season ...my views are much less popular than yours about the team....I'm used to that around here

People also need to stop insulting the blind as if they have no valuable opinions about things....

I'm sure they could smell how badly we played last night.

That's my point...and they also go to sporting events....Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder both referred to watching TV or Games...they just watch with their ears radio style.....blind is used as an adjective too often assuming they are unaware....I think people need to change the way they use the term, that's all.

This team usually enter each season feeling like it's hot shit and games are going to be handed to them and then after 2 months of reality smacking them in the face they begin to play better with their backs against the wall.

One time it's because they actually made the playoffs with no one expecting them to, one time it's because they just made the WCF and now it's because they added some overrated role players from other teams.

Give it time, i promise we'll have another mediocre season eventually.

Wow well said. Been saying this for years. Glad this place is turning around. This core is just stale and played out. Either fire the coach or something big to change it.

I loved the Covington move but what else did we really do? I’ve said it during free agency after the RoCo move the rest were ok but nothing like the hype this place had. And not just here, the whole national media is on our nuts and I have no idea why

Firing the coach is probably one of the easiest things you can do in the NBA in terms of making a change.
It has no cap implications, you don't have to worry about rules or restrictions and other coaches are available all the time.

No one have been watching Stotts' teams this past decade saying "LOOK AT THIS.... THIS GUY IS A FUCKING GENIUS!"
    lol

The guy is getting Championship caliber coach favoritism by the front office and it makes no sense.

The only reason he is still here is because of Dame. Dame wants him as coach so he is coach.

Problem with Stotts he doesn't like change. He is set who he start and players comes off the bench and when he calls timeouts. He will allows some players get away with a lot shit and others players he will take there minutes from them or due what did to Nurk in preseason. He try different type defense in preseason that wasn't working so he will back the same drop defense he always use. Now CJ he just not team players because only time he will pass when he can't get the shot off. Defensely he make a good play once in a blue moon but Stotts won't ring him in and can put Melo in that same catorogry. Stotts has to change up his lineups where he has to good defender on each unit plus that 2nd unit can't have CJ at point due he doesn't get anyone involved except maybe he will pass to Melo and you know where that's leads. But it's the coach job put players in position where they can be successful. Some people talking about Hood play and not playing like he use to but Stotts could rotate him with the 1st unit 5 minutes at time in the 1st quarter and third. That way you can bring Giles in with the 2nd unit and move Melo over to SF because Stotts don't enough on his ass to bench him when he not performing out there. Maybe start Melo and put Jones with the 2nd unit because a coaches job to have good offense and defense balance on each unit. This is my opinion about this team.
