I would have MAYBE let him play the second half of game for just for the chance at the epic comeback. Not game three at all.

That's the problem, that NO actually considered either as starting center material.

The entire summer changeover seemed questionable when it happened, and absurdly incompetent today.

    Whatever, hindsight is 20/20.

20 million to these nobodies and 20 million to that nobody and so on and on and on.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
SynTax points out that, based on what doctors said, Nurkic wasn't at risk of re-injury, Mediocre Man sarcastically talks about doctors in the forum.

tlong says that Nurkic "absolutely could" re-injure it, Mediocre Man eats it up.

Obviously, Mediocre Man believes that tlong really is a doctor and thus accepts his medical opinion.

Clearly if he injured it once it is always a risk to reinjure it. If you replace a lightbulb the new one can burn out at any time.

I'm sure they mean there isn't an increased risk of it breaking at this point.

If it is truly not susceptible to reinjury then explain it to him and play him. He was probably worried because it got more painful.

Start him with Vonleh and run everything through him.

Make him take 20 shots, the other chumps aren't making good use of them.

Well, Nurk's been ruled out for Game 4 so he has plenty of time to heal fully before fall camp.

The paranoia on this forum is absurd. What if he had a wart on his big toe? Would you freak you out?

I'm not a doctor, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

It was a terrible decision by the organization to play Nurkic. Just way too much risk.

Seriously? You wanna try using that excuse to your boss the next time you are sore form a weekends worth of hard yard work?

Yeah boss, Doctor said I cant do any further damage to myself, but I am sore and thinks its too much of a risk for me to come in and work. Sorry.

Come on now... They were trying to win game three. You win game three you have a chance to even the series up against one of the best teams ever. IF the doc says no risk of further injury, you play him!!!!

No further damage, huh? That must be why he's not playing game 4, right? Some things are just obvious. I realize you believe the Blazers organization can do no wrong, but you may wish to re-think that position.
