Jigga, I understand your sarcasm, but don't forget Knicks where without their 2 starters also. And beyond this, the only thought of losing to Knicks makes me retch. So you can rightly guess I threw up after the game.

A chance for players to shine, and everyone makes boneheaded decisions. I don't blame Gill; he is what he is--a borderline NBA player whose upside is a marginal 15th man. I don't blame Sean Williams; he's just a kid who hardly even had any college experience. Carter, however, looked completely disinterested. I wonder if he isn't sick or hurt. Nachbar is just terrible and right now doesn't deserve to be in the NBA. When this roster was constructed, all the faith was placed in Nachbar being a legit scorer and that seems to be misplaced. Magloire and Allen contributed somewhat and seem to be getting better and more comfortable as time goes by. Any team that relies on them this heavily doesn't deserve to be a contender, however. The fault mostly lies in the front office for putting this team together, I think. Yes, the team will be better if/when Krstic, Marcus, Antoine, and of course Kidd are healthy. But other teams have random players on the bench who are capable of putting up 20 points if they have a chance to start. Shawne Williams! Jared Dudley! Juan Carlos Navarro! Heck, Fred Jones! The Nets have no one like that, just a collection of random players.

Lasme is a beast. Dudley is also good, but Dudley was taken right where he should have been, especially the way NBA teams drool over 'potential', when WYSIWYG with Dudley.
At least we didn't take Hasheem Thabeet like ghoti kept lobbying for.
