I always felt that the team was winning in spite of McMillan, not because of him. I often wondered how much better those teams would have been with even someone like Stotts.
The last several champions have had dominant power forwards (LeBron being a power point forward-guard... sigh what a fucking nightmare he is for opponents)... LMA is (dare I say) pretty rugged down on the block now, and I like his combination of Dirk Nowitzki and Karl Malone that he has going on...
Offensively they might have been better and defensively it would have been a wash (Nate's teams were never good defensively and this current team is pretty mediocre on that end). I do wonder how Roy's strengths and weaknesses would fit into Stott's system.
