Isaiah Thomas officially signed his contract with the Denver Nuggets Monday and the scoring guard is excited for the opportunity he has in front of him. Thomas signed a one-year, $2 million deal with the Nuggets. With the Cavs and Lakers this past season, Thomas averaged 15.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists, shooting 37.3 percent from the field and 29.3 percent from three. Thomas underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right hip on March 28 but says he’s 100 percent now. “Ever since I came to the NBA, all I wanted was the opportunity,” Thomas told Nuggets.com. “I’ll take care of the rest. I’ve always said that to myself. I just wanted to be wanted. Being wanted is half the battle.
