. @Dame_Lillard called @Trobinson0 "Baby Blake Griffin" yesterday. That would work.

Rice compared him to Reggie Evans.

Olshey said the Rockets were very reluctant to deal @Trobinson0, calls him an 'absolute steal' #RipCity

If he can play 30mins next to Aldridge he'll get multiple 20 rebound games.

I think it was a great value move. The best case scenario is that he's good enough that Stotts gets a headache trying to find playing time for him. If he really takes off it makes Olshey's life a lot easier if he decides he needs to part ways with Aldridge.

That isn’t possible for a group of FANatics that spend hours in the offseason following a team that hasn’t played a meaningful game in four months. I want to figure it out now!

Yeah I don't buy that either, but I think their reasons for wanting to move him had more to do with Dwight and the way they want their 4s to play than Robinson being worthless on the court ... hopefully.

Interesting to consider that Robinson is the best rebounder of the Lopez/Leonard/Robinson big man group. Not that we're going to go down the Hickson path again, but the Aldridge/Robinson lineup could be pretty awesome against small teams or teams without an offensive center.

It's all doublespeak anyway. I'm sure there's truth to them not "wanting" to move him, as in they wish there could have been a way to shed that salary without giving up a legitimate talent. But Robinson was sort of a no brainer given his cap number over $3M and his fit with their system.

That would be a good running lineup if we could push the tempo with Lillard & CJ.

I have a good feeling Robinson's going to be the Chauncey Billups of big men.

Kings got nothing for Hickson . . . kind of like Blazers. :)

I don't give the Kings a lot of credit, but I don't throw out the fact the Kings gave away the #5 pick in his first year the way you do.

I'm surprised Houston couldn't get a future #1 for Robinson . . .even a pick in the 20s. And I'm not buying the idea that T-Rob wouldn't be traded if not for Diwght. he was shopped, traded before the Dwight trade and Rockets continue to cut salary after with Royce White and others I think.

Anyways, I don't think Robinson is trash. He is another young player with potential on this Blazer squad. Some see him as an almost can't miss #5 pick, others are more skeptical waiting to see why other teams didn't want to develop such a talent.

I think we are all hoping he turns into a stud, but there are definitely two schools of thought with both having some good points, IMO.

The Blazers got the cap space from losing his contract and not extending the cap hold by offering a Q.O. ($5.1 mil, wasn't it?). The Kings literally got nothing for Hickson last summer.
