If you want to see how fast your car can go you can take it to the Portland International Raceway. The top speed for a 2013 Porsche Panamera is 160mph.

I considered myself to more mature than most guys my age for most of my life. Always had a steady job, avoiding most trouble, did what I was supposed to in school. But I wasn't mistake-free. I took my '97 Nissan Sentra to 115 on the I-5 and the 205. Just wanted to see if it could go that fast.

Exactly.... if there's nobody around, it's not really a threat to others, just yourself. Not saying it's smart, just saying it's understandable for a kid to do it.

A friend of mine got a Dodge Viper up to 140mph over the Glenn Jackson bridge, let me drive on the way back and I only took it up to 120mph.

It's fun going that fast huh? I went 155 once on the freeway in my e63. The governor kicked in so I couldn't go faster. It's a rush watching cars going 80 zip by me.

Shit, I dunno if it was even V-6. It was shaking and rattling every time I got it up that fast (I did it 3-4 times). Hell, it was doing that at 85 (which I did with regularity).

I once going across 205 bridge going into WA broke my speedometer at 120 in a big Chrysler station wagon with a big built engine.

Gone down 84 quite a few times going 80-90 mph trying to get to a Blazers game on time.

Hilarious. He just wasn't watching the speed limit, that was the problem!!

This happens to me all the time: I'm driving along, not paying any attention to the speed limit, and then before you know it, I'm going 107 mph!!!

Well it is surprisingly easy to do in a German engineered vechicle; BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, etc

65 Chevy V8 station wagon, one of the bigger cars ever mass produced. I wasn't on a freeway, so 107 was all I could do before the street entered town.
