Everything at the rim like how PHX developed Amare. When he thinks/puts the ball on the floor it never ends well.
I don't know and I'm not paid to know. I'm guessing just like the next person. I think common sense suggests that the status quo is burning his starters out. The status quo isn't getting enough out of his bench. So if there is someone on the brink of a break out off the bench, why try to put the clamps on it? The bench can use the production. Had Terry NOT taken CJ out early in the fourth quarter when he was getting hot against the Clippers, who knows how much better those bench numbers might of been. And it might have been the difference of a Blazer victory and a Blazer loss. When the young players are showing signs they are starting get it, I would think you want that to compound that and keep them in there and see if the growth continues.
Rofl Cry about it some more There's absolutely nothing wrong with my stance on Thomas Robinson. There's a reason why he's been buried on the bench for most of the season and lost his spot to Meyers Leonard at times. At least when I have players I don't think are that great I give reasons and use stats to back up my opinion. I've done this multiple times with Thomas Robinson. Not you, though. Luke Babbitt and Meyers Leonard suck because they're white. That's your argument. Pathetic. Provide some real insight or stfu.
And why didn't I post in this thread? To avoid exactly this. This was a Thomas Robinson thread after the best game of his career. Nothing but positive talk as it should be. You had to make it about me though, didn't you? You couldn't just enjoy the thread for what it was. Fool
I like Thomas Robinson's hustle game. Hopefully he can learn to slow down a bit on the offensive end, I sincerely apologize if this offended anyone. I tried to get both a positive and a negative so everyone was equally happy and upset.
You've never said anything that bothered me. People sure like to feel offended by you for some reason.
Your passive aggressive pouting is incredibly entertaining. Keep up the good work sir. Help I'm being oppressed!
Papa, actually I would. Not a lot, just three minutes a piece. We need to lower both LA's and FroLo's minutes to keep them fresh.
HCP, I think the biggest issue with Robinson will be his mental adjustment from franchise player to high-level backup PF/C. If he can accept that he's going to be a high-energy 15-25 mpg player who does the dirty work and who only gets points off of putbacks, then we have a treasure. If he decides he'd rather play more on a crap team, then keep him until the end of his deal and trade him.
I agree. LMA's minutes should be cut down to 33mpg, which gives 15mpg to Robinson. I don't know that Robinson can also back-up Lopez, but perhaps in certain situations. Regardless, there should be 15 minutes for him every single game and that should be a good starting spot for his development. With regular minutes and a crystallized role the game will start to slow down for him. But if he keeps getting yanked around with 20 minutes one night, DNP the next, he's never going to develop. Right now we're looking at a one-and-done Playoff "run". Our best chance of changing that is for Robinson and CJ to become productive by the time the POs start. The only way that's going to happen is if they're both playing 15-20mpg from here to the end of the season.
