    I'll say it one more time, not that it will sink in, but;

    1. Not everything is racial, period....no matter how much some choose to believe otherwise.

    2. Racism is by no means exclusive to the South...even my own NEW YORK Yankees were one of the very last to integrate MLB..guess who was dead last?...the Boston fucking Red Sox.

Are there still a bunch of racist red necks in the South?...of course, I would be the last to deny that...but is that sort of sick minded thinking exclusive to the South?...No! It's everywhere, if you look hard enough. And if anyone thinks that racism is also exclusive to whites, they're kidding themselves, because it's just as prevalent in the black community as well.

Racism is not genetic, it's learned.

Sorry, nut not every southerner is still fighting the Civil War, so yes, as you admitted, you are "generalizing.

Stop lumping nearly 1/4 of the country in with the same small group of some idiot rednecks in Brunswick and elsewhere who it appears did something galactically stupid. Your view is probably based on a short time here, while I have lived here all my life...believe me, you're talking about a very small percentage of the people here.

And if you don't believe me, and this goes for all of you, let me know the next time you're down this way and I'll personally prove it to you.

...again, racism, regardless of its origins is not exclusive to the South.

    Honest question(s)...

Do you think the “mob” actually held the justice system accountable ... seeing as nothing happened for nearly 3 months in this “case”?

Do you think the justice system was even doing its job by waiting 3 months for them to render a decision on if they committed murder or not?

Would you have been “fine” with letting these people roam around the streets for the next (who knows how long) while the “justice” system took its time to figure it out?

What part of "We have a justice system in this country for a reason." didn't you understand ?

I can explain it for you but I can't understand it for you.

It's not a capital crime to jog outside one's neighborhood.

Indeed it is common knowledge that pedestrians walk against traffic.
    Where bicyclists ride with traffic.
You're taught this in the 2nd grade in todays elementary school.

I don't remember the age I was taught this, but I know it was elementary school.

GBI arrests father, son for murder of Ahmaud Arbery

    https://www.wjcl.com/article/gbi-arrests-father-son-for-murder-of-ahmaud-arbery/32409481

    GLYNN COUNTY, GA —
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Thursday arrested a father and son in the February shooting death of Ahmaud Arbery and charged the pair with murder and aggravated assault.

According to the GBI, Gregory McMichael, 64, and Travis McMichael, 34, were taken into custody and booked into the Glynn County Jail.

On Feb. 23 Arbery was jogging through the Satilla Shores neighborhood of Brunswick when Gregory and Travis McMichael confronted Arbery.

The pair reportedly said they were trying to make a citizen's arrest because they suspected Arbery was a burglar.

According to the police report obtained by WJCL 22 News, Gregory McMichael told the officer responding to the shooting that there had been several break-ins in the neighborhood and that he was in his front yard when he saw the "suspect from the break-ins" running down Satilla Drive.

Gregory McMichael said he had seen the same man on a previous night and that he stuck his hand down his pants which led him to believe that he was armed.

McMichael then told the officer that he grabbed his .357 Magnum while his son grabbed his shotgun and they got into a truck and caught up with Arbery.

During the encounter, the GBI says Travis McMichael shot and killed Arbery.

Arbery's killing and the delay in charges has lead to protests and national attention.

When questioned about the shooting Thursday afternoon, President Trump said the he hadn't seen the video yet.

"My heart goes out to the parents and to the loved ones of the young gentleman. It's a very sad thing, but I will be given a full report this evening," the President said.

When some generalize by calling anyone who disagrees with a stance, a Trumpette, but then complain about the south being lumped together....

Sounds like a double standard to me.....

Hmm... generalizing. cant have it both ways, or wouldn't that be.... hypocritical?

Don't lump the south together as racists.

Don't lump republicans together as pro trump.

Seems some people should follow their own advise......about generalizing if they have an issue with it.

And he was jogging where he was supposed to initially.

This all came about because myself and @Chris Craig said he veered right. I said he veered right, likely to start trying to get away as the truck stopped in front of him. Chris was saying(correct me if i'm wrong), IF he was on the right side, it would have been logical for him to veer further right to avoid danger. Not veer left into the road. No different than if on a bike on the right side... you would veer to the right to avoid danger. Which I agree with.

For example: Sidewalks have pedestrians walking both ways all the time. But no matter which direction, you are going to step away from the road to avoid danger IN the road.

That's all Chris was trying to say, but then the "Gotcha" police had to step up and use it as an insinuation that the victim was jogging on the wrong side of the road or something. So I corrected all involved and posted a screen shot clearly showing him jogging on the correct side of the road, into oncoming traffic.

If you then watch the video from there, he then starts to jog around the back, right side of the truck for, what I assume, is to get away from the danger he was becoming aware of in front of him.

The point is, some here are trying to find anything they can to try point out he was doing something wrong to justify it not being a racial motivation from the get go, in their opinion. Most disagree, and are pointing out things that validate their opinion that the victim did nothing wrong and was trying to avoid danger and it was racial from the get go. 100% certain? of course not. But lets not kid ourselves.

Common sense is common sense...if not, its senseless. :)

Now that you bring it up, it is one of my more minor pet peeves that it is "I couldn't care less" instead of "I could care less".

As I pointed out, if a person does in fact care about something to a degree, it is logically reasonable that they could therefore "care less".

That is what I was getting at OB. It wouldn't have made sense for him to run around the driver side, if a truck was chasing him. He would then be in danger of them running him over. It made sense to run to the right side of the road to avoid danger. It was a natural move.
