I think Will could have a similar career to Corey Brewer. He might bounce around to a few teams, play some defense, make a few highlights and collect some checks.
I think Neil has just decided to make Denver our official D league affiliate team but forgot to tell them that
Nice to see Barton doing well. There was no way he was going to get minutes or develop here, so bon chance.
Here's something you seem to be continually fail at understanding. Denver wanted small, ending contracts. CJ does not offer them that. He has a contract for next year. There's a reason why they waived both Thomas and Victor. So if they had traded CJ, Barton would've still been traded (to make salaries match up, under what Denver obviously wanted).
Dante Cunningham seems to be having fun for New Orleans these days, while we're listing ex-Blazer scrubs.
Exactly what I was thinking. We sent Barton to the D[enver] League for some seasoning, so we can bring him back as a free agent!
Hickson's problem is not a lack of seasoning, it's a lack of motivation. He plays his ass off (and pads his stats) when playing for his next contract. Too bad you can't sign the guy to a series of 8 consecutive 10-day contracts over the course of a season. If you could, he might actually be good. BNM
Right now I think of Will the same as Kenneth Faried - the junkier the game, the better they look. That could change, but that's the way I see it. Hopefully for Will, Denver makes another Faried-like mistake and award him a huge contract.
