...Tex still trying to hit that elusive 5-run HR when a single will suffice...great job, jackass.

Finally a real rally, from Ellsbury, 3 Ribbies, wonder when the last game was Jacoby had 3 RBI's....? A "boredom nap" awaken-er....

I'd love to see Ref stay for the rest of the year, and let Headley spend the rest of his contract in Wilkes-Barre....singing this tune all the way to his new permanent home...

Piss poor overall job by the "big three" almost shit the damn bed especially the spouse abuser who allegedly closed. Not just a smidgen of luck but a gift wrapped game. I'm wondering when if ever we'll see this group win a crisp game where they come in, take charge, show hitting and defensive skills that merit that type of win.

good to see Ref break up Boyd's no hitter in the 6th, w/Ellsbury collecting. Boyd sits down the first 14, and the wheels began to rattle.

With Pinheads MLB Qualified SP Leading ERA at 6.92 coming into the game; holding 7 hits to One Run, 8 K's in 5 2/3 he drops his ERA 1/2 a point.... I'm getting sick, and have been for a couple yrs now of seeing 5 2/3rds as norm for 'the hook'. The CG SP is gone but he's not forgotten....

Chapman worked his way into a bases loaded jam, got lucky getting the DP, then taking the game where great games often find themselves. Mano e Mano, my best against your best. In this case, I'd not give Chapman a 'best' monkier'. Miggy sure, he's deserved it for years...I wasn't going to scream if Miggy parked the ball, or hit it deep where they ain't....shit in one hand, toilet paper in the other....

Next Game: Eovaldi with 18 IP of One Run ball. How long can Nate keep it up, and will Yanx hitting ever level out, or is this what they call "leveled out", I hope to hell not....This years team has a One Run differential (less-under) per game from last years.....looks like another 'run variance' team in the making tho'... hit or not, score in droves or in goose eggs....consistency both ways, unfortunately...
