The All-Star game is a showcase of the best in the NBA, Duncan is one of them and deserved to start. Who cares about the tempo of the game.

I'm sorry but Duncan just doesnt fit into the tempo of the All-star game.</div> Would you seriously stop posting...My lord....The tempo of the all-star game? 'Um yeah, if your not fast guys i'm not playing you tonight, i'm thinking of only putting in guards because they are fast and exciting. Sorry Tim Duncan and Yao Ming, sure the fans voted you in but you don't fit our tempo.
Tim Duncan is used to a half-court offense well the ASG is basically run and gun. Duncan doesn't fit into the ASG's tempo of offense. That's why he didn't get any looks. Other guys like Shaq and Yao ming fit in as big men but Duncan is used to the half-court offense of the Spurs which consists of bringing up the ball, passing it to the wing, passing it to DUncan, posting up, using offensive moves, and then a jumper. The all-star game isn't played like that. That's essentially what TMac meant in the press conference when he said that Tim didn't get open looks because he is too boring. And the All-Star game is primarily thrived by guards.
The fans voted him in, he deserves to play. NBA SG's are like the WR's of the NFL, they hog all the spotlight and they are big premadonas, it pisses me off.
Tim Duncan may be boring to some of you, but if you truly love watching basketball, and you watch the game for more than just the thrill of a buzzer-beater, then you should love the man. I watched him in Wake Forest...arguably the best college basketball player in the history of the game. Tim Duncan and Hakeem Olajuwon were both very boring to alot of fans, but their fundamentals got the job done.By the way, Tim has had his share of dunks. He destroyed Ben Wallace once that I know of in regards to star defenders. Duncan and Garnett are two bigs that you can safely say are complete players...one may be exciting, one may put you to sleep, but both can get the job done (individually, at least).

He is a really good player but isnt flashy at all. His game is super smooth and flows. Hittin those bank shots off the glass and rebounding and even some good passing. His game is nice but not to many people respect it because it isnt like AIs or streetballers.
I think the spurs are boring much like the pistons of the past couple years but it works spurs and pistons have won the last four championships. Hopefully the pistons can get it done this year with there new aggresive offensive style.

I honestly couldnt tell you if he was boring.... I fall asleep everytime i try to watch the Spurs play. Yeah they win and do it alot, but it's still boring. No im not hating. Im just speaking the truth.
i hate when he's on national tv. i can't watch him do nothing exciting and show absolutely no emotion at all. he is the boringest player ever to play in the nba. he is a great player tho. i just can't stand watching him bank jump shots and hook shots.
