Rook of the year by SI. 2, statistical yes. NE no, but that is why u play the games. and on paper, NE isnt even in the top 10 on offense, maybe on defense and def. SP .
LJ didnt get drafted in the 1st round becuase hes not a 1st round talent. SI always makes off the wall predictions to sell magazines. Rarely are they right. You seem to have a gift for convincing yourself that avg. to below avg Eagles are on the vergoe of stardom. If you look at LJ's numbers last year, you will see a player that caught 30 passes for 363 yards in 17 games with 1 TD...that total by the way was good enough to be ranked 32 among NFL TE's by CBSportslines position ratings...pop quiz hot shot, how many teams are in the league? That would make L.J. Smith the worst starting TE in the league last year( I know he only started 5 games).....but what in that season makes you think hes gonna be so good? I notice you like to say hes gonna be better than Shockey this year, but Shockey played 9 games last year, about half og L.J.s total, and yet caught more passes(48), for more yards(535) and more TDs(2)....at some point, you have to realize that just because you like a player, doesnt mean hes good....you can apply most of what I said about L.J Smith to Westbrook as well, hes not nearly as good s you have convinced yourself that he is....
Okay now listen havent we all picked on T.O for a long enouogh he has done nothing to yopu and nothing to me so just move past it forget T.O now the only time i want to hear his name brought up is when phila is in the super bowl

He has done something to me, hes shown disrespect to the game I love....by squating on the star in Dallas and pulling a foreign object out of his sock during a football game, two signs that hes a complete asshole who thinks hes above the game and above his team...and you guys are welcoming him with open arms...like a healthy man welcoming in testical cancer in hopes that the cancers has changed its destructive was and will actually cause you balls to grow bigger....I leave you with one warning: Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it!

Being the best on paper means nothing. Especially in June! The only thing that matters now is bling bling. Pats got the trophy in Feb & just got their rings. Further, Belichick & crew have already visited the Pres. I guess this means they are the champs?
