Kings re-structuring. He's a guy I always liked. Righty shot. Kings struggle on offense and defense. I'm thinking, Spooner, Nieves and Smith half retained for Toffoli. Looks like the Kings are trying to get faster. Nieves can play on their 4th line. Smith just needs to move elsewhere. Spooner is UFA next year. Toffoli has one more year on his deal. That would be a nice get. You might have to switch out Nieves for McQuaid. Or add McQuaid in. I like Toffoli. I think he would fit perfect here under Quinn.
I like Toffoli too. Would add a bit of size and the right shot on the wing as you noted. But I'm not sure how that move would help the Kings. They already have an older and expensive d corp back there. I still want Nylander but Im not sure if we have the assets to get him. If Toronto is hot for a righty D would they be interested in DeAngelo now that he's playing pretty well?
