His personal life doesn't concern me unless he a Blazer smoking dope speeding down I-5 in the back of a semi-truck that has a dog fighting ring going on.

His attitude on the court is his attitude on the court. It's been well documented the friction that has occurred in OKC because of his attitude and fighting to be "the man" there. There are no egos on the Blazers. Actions speak louder than words. But he's free to keep barking at Stotts on the side-lines all he wishes.

I would agree. If people want me to distinguish between him as a player and him as a person, I could meet y'all... sort of half way, but only because I have a lack of personal experience with his personal life. lol

Kobe visits Portland two times a year. Nobody knows what Kobe's effective range is though.

The sonic team he coached was an amazing defensive ball club.

If Westbrook were a Blazer (and if OKC hadn't surprised everyone and taken him 4th overall, he might have been) I wonder, would people call him an ego maniac or a "fiery competitor?"

That's not to say that he isn't a bit selfish and kind of a misfit as a point-guard, but where people stand on an something usually has a lot to do with where they're sitting.

To be honest, I think Westbrook is a beast and deserves to be a bit cocky. OKC would never be where they are today without him on that team. I can't stand the guy, but I think I would agree with you if he was on this team. I would probably say he has the desire and drive to be a winner.

To be clear, I wouldn't want him to be our point-guard and I don't think OKC will ever win with him trying to be the alpha dog over Durant, but if he had been allowed to play off-the-ball next to a guy like Harden for the next five years I think it would have seriously altered the arc of his career for the better.

As soon as he started fighting with LA, that would be it for me. Just an example, but when Damon publicly complained about playing time before the first game of the WCF against the Spurs, that was it for me. I was done with him. I couldn't believe he was so selfish that he would complain about playing time before the WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS. Watching video clips of Westbrook fight with Durant during a game tells me that he's a douche.

All I know is OKC looked like a completely different team with Westbrook in the playoffs. Is the guy a Factory Reject Dildo on the court? sure. But so are a lot of really good players who I would love to have on the Blazers.

The fact that he doesn't understand that he's not the best player on the team.... I wouldn't want him.
