<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dj_premium_plus:</div><div class="quote_post">but its not JUST his size...its also his skill...he has so many low post moves, he has soft touch in the lane, can go both directions, has GREAT hands for a big man...its not JUST his size...its a combination of both...but either way, you dont ever hear someone saying "t mac is a great player, but hes only great because he has such an athletic build" the lakers would be better withouth kobe and with shaq then the other way around...whats harder to come by in the league? a shooting guard or a center? id rather have someone who scores 25 points AND brings down 11 boards, AND patrols my paint with mere presence, then kobe. kobe is great, but shaq its shaq's team face it man, jo is a great player, but shaq is an elite player...there is NO stopping him</div> 1.In the last couple of year his dominating has been because of his weight..This year it might be different because of what Kobe said..Maybe he will finally get some of that fat gone and if he does he will be back to what he should be 2.Yes you are right i would take a 7foot center over a SG too.. 3.I no Shaq is elite and he gets better stats..But skills wise JO is better and JO will show this year i think that he can be up there with Shaq..

hey! isnt that Mel on the left?? (j/k mel) I could believe that Jermaine may end up as good as Shaq. when he's on he seems as unstoppable as anyone but he has to learn to be more consistant if he wants to be an elite player. He relys on his size just as much as shaq on teh boards. i feel like he could get more rebounds than ben wallace if he was more agressive and would actually JUMP
HoLlaTchABoy420 You keep bringing up the fact Shaq's weight is the reason he dominates and without his size he wouldn't be as dominant. So let's be fair about the situation, you take away Shaq's physical attributes, so let's start taking away some of the other top player's physical talents. Kobe - can no longer jump Kidd - can no longer see Iverson - can no longer run fast KG - is no longer 7 feet See how ridiculous it gets? Shaq's weight has nothing to do with his dominance. He is a great student of the game and has learned to use his size effectively through strength and conditioning. If it was easy then the NBA would be dominated by more than just one big man. There are plenty of other big players in the league, who simply don't have the impact Shaq has. Shaq has great footwork, a great touch around the basketball, speed, and explosiveness. You cannot use his size to criticize his game. IF he wasn't big he wouldn't dominate. But there is no IF when you make a list like this, it's all about what IS.

Jo will never come close to being as good as shaq..he isn't dominant..nor will he have the rebounding skills to get 15/16 a game like ben wallace
1 - Tim Duncan 2 - Shaquille O'Neal 3 - Kevin Garnett 4 - Tracy McGrady 5 - Kobe Bryant 6 - Jason Kidd 7 - Allen Iverson 8 - Chris Webber 9 - Dirk Nowitzki 10 -Ray Allen Honorable Mention - Raef LaFrentz and the Blazers.
ray allen ahead of steve francis? allen couldn't lead the bucks to the playoffs with a stacked team, and he did aight with the sonics. allen had trouble making the playoffs with robinson and cassell in the east a couple years ago. francis won 43 games in the west, which is like winning 50 in the east.
