<div class="quote_poster">Quoting durvasa:</div><div class="quote_post"> Chamberlain Shaq Jordan Robertson Kareem Magic Bird Russell Olajuwon </div> I like this list. Chamberlain can't be left off any list, it just wouldn't make any sense. The guy would have to be a top 3 player AT WORST. No one ever dominated to the degree to which he did. Robertson with the triple doubles is hard to ignore, though I'd say by the end of his career Lebron might be reminding people of this guy. Kareem and Russell are big men who dominated over such a long period of time as well.. The others are recent enough that explanation shouldn't be necessary.. Although Hakeem does seem a little out of place on that list. It's difficult to pick out a player who beats him out easily though, imo.
One thing we can all agree on is that Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson and Kareem Abdul Jabbar are without any question amongst the Top 10 of all-time. The other four remaining spots... well that's when it get's interesting and you start throwing names like Russell, Hakeem, Shaq and others.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Johnnybrasco:</div><div class="quote_post">This is the list people, debate it but its the closest to perfection so we can end it now: 1. MJ 2. Wilt 3. Kareem 4. Magic Johnson 6. Oscar Robertson 7. Bill Rusell 8. Shaq 9. Larry Bird 10.Tim Duncan (Yes tim duncan has already become the greatest PF of all time)</div> This is a good list, i also think td is also the best pf in nba history.
