He draws plenty of contact when in the paint. Unfortunately the refs aren't giving him all star calls. It's pretty pathetic really
Be patient. McCollum may be that third scoring option. Nic is never going to wow us with scoring consistency but he will play that good "5 tool" role.
I don't know.... if the Thunder are relying on him to create all their offense, his shooting could remain low like that. Maybe not that low, but he shot a fairly low percentage before they got Westbrook. It probably has something to do with teams being able to focus their defense entirely on KD. The numbers from his rookie year pre-Westbrook and his current numbers are strikingly similar. 2007-2008 - 17.1 FGA, 43% from the floor, 28.8% from downtown 2013-2014 - 17.5 FGA, 37% from the floor, 23% from downtown Edited to add his career averages - 18.8 FGA, 47.4% from the floor, and 37% from downtown. I think the Thunder are desperately missing that second option on offense, and so far Reggie Jackson aint cuttin in.
The scary thing is neither LA/Dame are looking like they are trying really hard to score, they both seem like they could add 10+ points to that tally easily. I know thats not the case but they make it seem pretty effortless sometimes.
They really are just taking good shots and they're falling. Seems like Dame could go for 40 though when he gets going but he settles down and gets the team involved.
Dame is just amazing. He seems like he can just heat up and go for... I lost my train of thought staring at your avatar.
