Eddie Jones? Rasual Butler? I think those 2 would be the ones to blame for the teams shortcomings since EJ was playing far below his capabilities, and neither of them was hitting anything.

Obviously you have games where you miss, but missing open shots constantly becomes a burden

I see a lot of people with no love for the glass cleaner, 12.4 rebounds per game.

Luol Deng isn't a surprise to me, he was my ROY pick, I had him averaging 13-15 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Here's my list. It's based on player's performance THIS SEASON. And what I'm considering is what they've done to help their team win, not who'd win in a one on one pickup game or who necessarily has the best stats. Just for comparion, I put the NBA.com's Efficiency rating next to their names.

    1. Kevin Garnett (34.00)
    2. Dirk Nowitzki (30.35)
    3. LeBron James (28.24)
    4. Tim Duncan (28.33)
    5. Kobe Bryant (24.76)
    6. Steve Nash (23.12)
    7. Dwayne Wade (26.44)
    8. Shaquille Oneal (23.28)
    9. Amare Stoudemire (25.47)
    10. Shawn Marion (26.24)

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting realdealbneal:</div><div class="quote_post">Okay...take away Dwyane Wade, and place Kobe in his place in Miami.

Does Miami have a better record? Are they better than 5th in the East? Better than third in their own conference, under Orlando and Washington? YES.
    </div>

How is the answer "YES". Shaq and Wade play much much better together than Shaq and Kobe would in Miami.

    </div>

    I will answer those questions
1)No Miami does not have a better record because Shaq and Kobe will refuse to play with each other [IMG]
    2) Nope same reason as above
3)Well they are clearly better than washington seeing as how they beat them 2 games in a row earlier, Washington just had a much easier scehedule. Same with Orlando.
    4)No

    Anyway heres my list

    1) Tim Duncan
2)Ray Allen(solely for the fact of his teams 15-3(I think) record)
    3) LeBron James
    4) Dirk Nowitzki
    5) KG
    6) Steve NAsh
    7) Dwyane Wade
    8) Kobe Bryant
    9) Shaquille O NEal
    10) Allen Iverson

    Honorable Mention: Grant Hill

Okay everyone, now that we've all agreed that Wade is better than Kobe (since the Heat ARE playing like the championship team Shaq promised), Shaq is better than Kobe (since he's leading the Heat now), and Rusty LaRue is better than Kobe (because Kobe is the devil)...let's get back on topic.

Show me one post where I defended Vince like mad just because some people forget he still plays in the NBA. [IMG] He's my favorite player, but I don't love my favorite player as much as you loving Kobe. After all, didn't I not go crazy after people didn't put Vince in the top 10?

Dang I was really hoping this thread would lean more towards Kobe vs Lebron or maybe Kobe vs shredded wheat [IMG].

Anyway, it is debatable that Wade is having a better year, look at the efficiency rating. Regardless Wade is not better than Kobe, so don't go there.

Here's my top 10 list, with both Kobe and Wade left off. I don't feel like dealing with Heat or Laker fans, as you have BOTH evolved into some of the most immature fans on this board.

    1. KG
    2. Duncan
    3. Lebron
    4. Amare
    5. Dirk
    6. Ray Allen
    7. Steve Nash
    8 Antawn Jamison
    9. Steve Francis
    10. Carlos Boozer

First off, there's no need to go off and call other members immature, Jurassic, since you've added your take already.

    ---------------------

Secondly, if I loved Kobe as much as you say, Chungster, I'd put him at the very top of this list.

I'm sick of being criticized because of my sig, my favorite player and my favorite team. Everywhere I post I hear the same thing. THAT is immaturity.

If I were to show off a Ray Allen sig, a Dwight Howard sig, or even a Dennis Rodman sig...all of you would ignore my posts. But...since my opinion matters so much to everyone around here, I'm the root of all debates. I have to put up with people calling me a "jockrider" because I place Kobe above Wade in a rating system...yet, not above Garnett, Nowitzki, Duncan or LeBron.

But I'm not going to let it bring me down. I think it's fantastic that you guys have to resort to personal attacks and ignorant comments, just to prove a point you can't prove.

Until you hear me saying that Kobe's season is PERFECT, that the Lakers are going to win 82 games, and that Wade, Shaq and every other player can't match up to Kobe...then you have no grounds to judge me and make assumptions based on every one of my posts I contribute to JBB.

What exactly are you talking about? "My take"? The fact that I remained unbiased, but saying that while Kobe is better than Wade, Wade may be having the better year? I seriously don't understand what you point was.

And yes, it is immature when you see that someone has Wade above Kobe, so you come back by bringing up Vince Carter (who nobody has listed as a top player, and who's name hadn't been mentioned). So maybe YOU are one of the people that needs to grow the hell up.

The reason I brought up Vince was to show how ignorant it is to judge a person and call them such things as a jockrider because of their favorite player.

Haha...telling me to grow up...I don't have the time to waste dealing with you. I'm out.
