Edge and Barber are not exactly what I would call top 5 material. If I had to choose, I might take Jamal Lewis. Obviously he hasnt had the production the last two years and Mike Anderson is waiting on the wings, but I think he can reach 1600 yards, 15+ TDs this year. He obviously has the potential, he reached 2,000 yards back in 2003. A better passing attack should open up more holes, and he doesnt have the off-field troubles as he has had.
LOLUmm, yes in 2003 he had over 2,000 yards rushing, buyt then in '04 he had only 1,006 yards and then last year only 906. He has decreased majorly each year after those 2,066 yards.'03-'04 Lost 1,060 yards.'04-'05 Lost 100 yards. That is far from top 5 material.

Yes, obviously he hasnt had the production the last 2 years, but his off-field troubles have obviously affected him. Injuries, Kyle Boller, etc. What I am saying, is that he has the potential to be a top 5 RB. Rudi Johnson, Tiki Barber, Edgerrin James, they are not top 5 RBs. Top 5 means excellence, those RBs are good, they are great, but they arent the cream of the crop.

No, the thing here is, WHO ARE THE TOP 5 RB'S? I didn't see the poll saying, who could possibly be the top 5 after this year? And, my friend, Jamal Lewis is not a top 5.

I will give credit that he must be in the top 5 if he lead the league last year, but the fact of the matter is, he can't do it all. When it comes down to it LT does it all.
