Also, Chauncey controls the tempo of the game and his teamates, and his ability to speed up the game at any given moment is what makes him better than Williams. I would put Williams ahead of CP3 at this point just because his team is in the WCF in only his second season.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Drake24 @ May 27 2007, 11:12 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I am suprised so many people picked Steve Nash over Jason Kidd. Sure Nash is a great offensive player, but that is about all you can say about him- and you can throw in he is a good leader. Jason Kidd- although he doesn't have the greatest shot in the world- can do just about everything on both ends of the court. And on top of all of that, he can rebound. Jason Kidd is a more complete player, where as Nash has his limits. If you pick Nash, you better hope you have the players on your team to help out defensively and on the boards.</div>Nash is just so much better at shooting/scoring, that and his slight advantage in passing and what he's done recently puts him ahead. His ability to make shots in the clutch is also big. He's had so many clutch performances whereas Kidd just passes to Carter or mostly misses the shot. I saw plenty of that here in Phoenix and it pissed me off. So while with Nash you do need better defensive players, with Kidd you need someone else to make big buckets in the end of games. I've had both one my team and I prefer Nash.
If you value your points guards by passing and playing as a traditional PG, Andre Miller is the 3rd best in the league behind Nash and Kidd.

He puts up better stats, shoots 50% from the field, gives the ball to the right guy. Just imagine what a guy like him could do on a team like Detroit's. He would be absolutely amazing.</div>Are you out of your mind? Better scorer? No way. Maybe passer, but not much better. Better shooter? Hell no. Who cares if he possesses great team defensive ability, Billups is a much better defender. If Billups was on Utah, they could very well beat the Spurs. If Deron Williams was on the Pistons instead of Billups, I am not so sure that we could beat the Bulls.Stupid biased opinion on your part.
